Just then, a door opened and closed and an orotund and disembodied voice yelled in the living room, "Moooom! Have you seen my white shirt?" The Delta female scrunched her face in confusion before speaking. "You have over twenty white shirts, do you really expect me to know the white shirt you're looking for?" She yelled back and Heidi giggled. "Ugh. Mom, there's eggshell white, ghost white, coconut white, ivory white, snow white, baby powder white, cloud white, glacial ice white, moon white, cornsilk white, and so on," a teenage boy appeared in the kitchen giving a face to the thick voice.

I only find her passion for art impressive, and nothing else. Mrs. Hannah is very appreciative of her work. She could have been a tad bit kind to me that day too. Alas, few things will always remain a mystery. I pick up my paintbrush and with grey acrylic paint, I draw the scene I couldn't get out of my sight the entire night. This complicated color is just a mixture of some balanced quantities of black and white. Different shades can be produced just by changing these proportions. Only if it were that easy to percept things outside the range of canvas.

The ceiling of Mount Sinai’s third floor is a particular shade of off-white that I have now spent enough time staring at to have opinions about, and my opinion is that whoever chose this color has never had to look at it from a hospital bed while their face throbs and their palms sting and the events of the last three hours replay on a loop they haven’t figured out how to stop yet.

It will symbolize the sky with some clouds I guess," I said and the baby kicked. "So, only one side with sky blue and white while the other side with sky blue with some golden stars and moon?" She asked and I nodded.

She hoped Nick didn't like dark colours for interiors, well it didn't matter if he did or not, she looked much better in light colours, he wouldn't mind if the decoration she chose for their house, made her look beautiful. She was ethereal, in fact, both her and Ruby had been given that compliment, but she was actually more ethereal than Ruby was. The walls would be painted Eau de Nil, she wasn't too keen on the colour, but it sounded so elegant and sophisticated, and it suited her 'ethereality'. Or maybe robins egg blue? No, perhaps not, that seemed like she was a yummy mummy keeping chickens in the back garden and growing her own vegetables, and that was certainly not her thing. Children..

A massive, cold mansion looms ahead, straight out of an old European painting. Classical columns line the front, and ivy creeps up the stone walls, failing to soften its harsh grandeur. Everything about it screams power and wealth. The man cuts the engine and glances back with a polite, distant expression. "We’re here." I press into the seat, wishing I could disappear. "I’m not getting out."

She realized it was best not to push into the storm clouding his mind, even though she had little insight into its cause. They both stood in silence, taking in the beauty of the painting before them. In the heart of the canvas, a vast expanse of cerulean blue stretches endlessly, embracing the horizon with its tranquil hue. Wisps of fluffy cumulus clouds dance gently across the sky, their edges tinged with a soft, ethereal white, floating lazily as if carried by a whispering breeze. The blue sky acts as a captivating backdrop, imbuing the scene with a sense of boundless serenity and a promise of endless possibilities. Its seamless gradient, from the deepest azure at its zenith to the paler,

Finally the torture ended as we finished the long set of stairs and the guy who was leading us took us to a long corridor. "Why is it boring?" Kiah asked looking at the bare walls which looked lifeless and the pale white made no effort to bring life in them. I don't understand why there were no paintings. I always thought rich people loved paintings as their indoor decors. "Maybe it's because they don't have a magic princess." I replied. "Why a magic one?" she asked looking up at me, her little pretty face scrunched up in dissatisfaction.

Past, 7:40 pm, Field "Really? Indigo's your favorite color? Why is that?" I asked curiously looking above the vast sky ahead of us. Arthur's face is still a blur even in my memories. Arthur chuckled softly, "It's kind of weird." "I like weird." "Of course you do." He teased as he lays down the freshly cutgrass. Arthur spreads his arms wide as if he was flying along with the stars that are just starting to appear visible and continued explaining, "The night sky is indigo just before it reaches its pitch black complexion and in those brief moments, I can see how the sun's final moments give way to the moon. I think it's very beautiful."
