Enveloped in a dazzling light of blessing that twisted and bound us together, we were suddenly transported to a realm where the sky stretched endlessly above and the sea sprawled vast and unending below. She walked past Ace into her bedroom and pinned the invitation on the wall among the countless photos of Finn. Lucifer's wings spread wider, a majestic color of black and blood red highlights, feathers dripped molten shadows that hissed on the floor. It’s no ordinary ink either, the black crystals that make up some of our cave formations are ground in for good measure. A connection to the earth the Moon Goddess gave us apparently. My father’s back, which I remember glimpsing as a child years ago, is absolutely covered, I’m only getting started. It’s a combination of protection and blessings.
