Beneath the dark, stormy sky, thunder rumbled like a giant's growl, echoing through the air. Sheets of rain poured down relentlessly, soaking Adam and Mariah, who stood side by side before three graves. Adam, whose eyes had now been rendered swollen and red by endless tears, stared intently at the graves before him.
