He walked up to me, wearing a friendly smile. "Hello! Are you the new neighbor next door? I'm Jerney. I haven't been here for too long myself, but I've been here for about three years now. Welcome to Park Slope!" I greeted him with equal warmth. "Would you mind if I joined you for a walk?" he inquired. I nodded, and we resumed our journey with him leading the way. Ultimately, it became an enjoyable stroll as Jerney pointed out the best sights around us. I've come to appreciate this place, its atmosphere is undeniably inviting, and the locals seem quite friendly.

My priority was to settle in the home and hospital. So I took a quick shower and reached the hospital and looked for my friend. She was waiting for me in the parking lot. We went upstairs and reported on duty. We were asked to go to a lecture theatre and wait. My friend and I were going there when I saw my new irritating neighbour. What was he doing here?? Must have come for the mental check-up?? I chuckled. I saw some man hugging him and saying that he loved him. They both were smiling and my neighbour said that he knows it well.

He said to me, I nodded at him. He brought his body even closer to me so I could feel the warmth of it his body, I smiled out of nowhere and then I looked up to see his face and then the spot light in our place disappeared. Wrong timing! "My name is Kent and I'm your neighbor." I heard his name but the last thing he said I didn't understand because the music was so loud. I just nodded so that he wouldn't notice that I was a bit out of my mind again!

Somehow… It felt like I’d lost someone I’d never really met.. The vibration from my phone distracted the hallway. she must have come to wake me up early so we won't be late today. My hand grabbed the door handle and pushed the door open, I leaned on the doorframe. "What?" I asked sleepily. "Good morning, neighbor!" My eyes snapped opened at the very familiar voice, sleep quickly vanished from my eyes and I'm suddenly wide awoke. Thanatos?! What is he doing here so early in the morning?! Hold on... neighbor?!!! His eyes roamed my body and I'm quickly aware of my nightie, I made to shut the door.. but he blocked it with his foot.

She wisped "hello" my dad turned to me, I can say he was furious I am guessing because - why is there a girl on my door, but as soon as he saw my face he knew I had no idea. But out of nowhere, Sophie came out "hi" and an older lady, maybe a couple of years older than my dad with a dashing smile and a 2-year-old baby on her hip. "Well hello, new neighbor." This was like a twilight zone. My dad was numb. He shook his head and spoke a soft "Hello."

Josh had to make a phone call! He ran up the stairs, he had been in such a hurry to come down, when he saw Alissa rushing through the snow towards his house, which he had left standing and lying. It's hard to believe that someone from his city of all people lived in the house next door. He shook his head and dialed his partner Janik's number. "Hey J, do you miss me already?" Came the cheerful voice of his best friend.

Third person's POV The following morning, Connor decides that he is going to meet the new neighbor. He is curious about the new neighbor, who only knows the older couple. And the older aunt used to give him cookies and sweets. He hopes his new neighbor is also as friendly. He sneaks out while his mom is still sleeping. He knows she does not sleep much during the week as she always works late, so he leaves her to sleep late on Sundays. Conner knocks on the door and remembers his mother telling him not to talk to strangers. Perhaps he should turn around. What if the neighbor is a serial killer? He did not think about it.

Right then, however, her neighbor's door was wide open as they picked up a food delivery. Since they were neighbors, Phoebe figured that she would nod in greeting to be polite, even if they just kept to themselves otherwise. But once the delivery guy turned around, she froze. Her neighbor was… Gideon? Bumping into him at the racetrack was already coincidental enough. And yet, there he was—suddenly her neighbor. She prayed that none of this was real, yet there was no denying that it was Gideon standing there.

Maybe one of the neighbors knew someone who could help. I slipped back inside, grabbed my phone and a light cardigan, then stepped out through the front gate. The street was quiet as usual, lined with neat houses and trimmed hedges that made mine look even worse. Mrs. Henderson, my next-door neighbor, was outside watering her flowers. She was in her late fifties, always cheerful, always curious… maybe a little too curious sometimes. “Good morning!” I called, walking over with a small smile. She looked up, smiling back. “Well, hello there, dear! I was wondering when I’d see you again. How are you holding up?”
