It was as if, with just a beckoning of my hand, he would give me his life. “Want to see?” The sense of danger dissipated the moment he spoke. I nodded without thinking. “Yes. Definitely.” Henry’s eyes flicked slightly, a dangerous edge coloring his tone. “Once you see it, there’s no going back. “Tattooing this spot will hurt.” I had cried like a baby the last time I had gotten my collarbone tattooed. “Then… maybe forget it.” I breathed a secret sigh of relief. Henry’s expression said, “I knew it”, but he didn’t expose me.

It's kind of funny seeing a guy as confident and powerful and dangerous-looking stuttering like a 5 year old, but the situation is stopling me from laughing. He sits there and he doesn't say, or do anything, just sits there for a few long moments; I'm not even sure if he's breathing. And then, all of a sudden, he stands up, pushing the chair bacwards so hard that it falls over, and covers his face with his palms. "Motherfucker." he mumbles to himself and then gives me that dangerous look he has when he's planning to kill someone. Oh boy. "With who? You're pregnant with who?" he roars out and I want to sink into the ground because everybody's eyes are on us.

Let me know immediately. ‘What I have been trying to tell you is that I am capable of taking care of myself, don't worry about me.’ I assured him. ‘Henry has men at his disposal. Men that are willing to pave ways for him even if it means taking lives. If you have any funny ideas in that tiny cute head of yours terminate it.’ If he wanted his words to scare me then it was mission accomplished. ‘can you see why I never wanted you to work with Henry from the get go? That man may not seem like it but he is dangerous.'

He stopped smiling immediately before sitting down, placing the envelop he has brought with him on the table. Jane sat across him and glanced at the wine on the table. “Wine?” She raised her glass, and he nodded, she pushed an empty neat glass to him and poured him some wine from the wine bottle. “How is he?” Jane asked after Henry sipped some glass of wine, her expression now serious and the smiles on her face were wiped off her face like they were never there. Henry exhaled sharply and pushed the envelope to her and she glanced at it. “See for yourself.” He told her and she took the envelope, tearing it open, she took out the pictures on it and her eyes drooped.

He was enjoying every bit of it “why are you interested in any of this anyways? It’s dangerous. It might look fascinating now but the dangers that come with it is insane” Henry warned as he lifted his shirt and doused his wound with hydrogen peroxide He grunt with clenched fists and veins showing on his neck that he wanted to scream but couldn’t, Dylan’s face was pulled into irritation. “If you were me and you found out that the supernatural was real, everything you watched and wish you could be your whole life was actually real. Won’t you ask questions?” Dylan shrugged

It is the kind of smile that belongs to a man who has just decided the game will be more dangerous if he sits close enough to touch the blade. By four o’clock, Julian Hart will be sitting across from him. By four o’clock, Adrian will remind him that beautifully written humiliation still has consequences.

As my consciousness began to fade, a snow-white figure suddenly appeared and rushed toward me through the deafening roar. Henry heard the noise and screams of help. He glanced at the injured Margot and ran over as if possessed. He did not run toward me. He did not flee to the gates either. He ran behind the artificial hills and frantically dragged out several large crates. Zachariah shouted in panic, “Henry, what are you doing?” Henry mustered all his strength, gritted his teeth, hoisted the boxes, and hurled them into the pond. He shouted. “These are all filled with explosives! They must not come into contact with sparks.”

I could feel every inch of his hard body pressed against me the same body I had tried so hard to forget. Henry’s voice dropped even lower, dangerous and rough. “You have no idea what you’ve just walked into, Silver.” His eyes flicked down to my lips for a split second before returning to my face, dark and intense. The shouting in the background had stopped. The two suited men were probably watching now, but Henry didn’t seem to care. I swallowed hard, trapped between fear and that stupid, unwanted spark of heat low in my belly. This was bad. Really bad. And the way Henry was looking at me right now… it felt like the real danger had only just begun.
