Finally, she turned to face me, her eyes filled with sorrow. “I see darkness, Selene. And it’s coming for you. It’s coming for all of us.” Her words hung in the air, and I felt a chill run down my spine. Darkness. It was the only word I could hear echoing in my mind. What did it mean? What was coming for us?
