John pov --------------- I woke up late today. I see roya was not there in bed. I was worried what she would react when she see me, I was holding her in my arms protectively. But no response. She always give me surprises, what I think, she will always done opposite. I go for my exercise. I workout in my gym. After I am done, I go to my room. Where I saw roya she was going for shower. I finish chopping the melon as Anthony walks in taking a piece shoving it into his mouth, I shake my head picking the remaining slices up placing them in a lunchbox for the fridge. "Thank you again for doing all this doll, I just hope she appreciates it" he sighs leaning against the counter still chewing his melon, while I put the rest of the fresh fruit in the fridge "I'm probably just overreacting it's gonna go fine, now I have you and Amelia, there is nothing she can say which will bring me down" he smiles, pulling me closer to him with his hands on my waist, I try to pull away which doesn't work I was trapped in his arms.

POV: KAI The press box smells like musty coffee and old popcorn. I sit in the back row, laptop balanced on my knees, hoodie zipped to my chin. The collar still hides most of the mark, but I feel it every time I swallow. Like a reminder I can't delete. Game starts fast. Puck drops. The crowd roars. I type without looking down much—habit now.
