Tattooed Luna

Tattooed Luna

Jacob laughed. “I’ll kick your ass too!” I said as I glared at him. “Kris! We have one more surprise for you.” Penny yelled from behind my front desk. “What?” I looked confused. She walked out carrying a massive book. I recognized what it was right away. It’s the type of book that you use for a portfolio. “You got me a new book?” “Kinda.” Penny showed me the cover. It had a Black Moon with two wolves howling. The leather was fresh as I could smell it. Alec took the cover and opened it for me.

I have been in absolutely in love with this book since the beginning. I have enjoyed how the story has continued to develop beyond the siblings and their mates, but to another level of complexity within the familial ties. Amazing writing, well developed characters, not your typical werewolf story.

Could not put this book down on the first read. I am now reading all three a second time. Love the story line. Kris and Alec are badass characters and love their chemistry. Would love another book with the original characters, but maybe some chapters with POV from Jacob and Sherry or Emmy and Jasper

The Genius Delta

The Genius Delta

I jogged my chin to the box. I watched with bated breath as Persephone reached into the box and pulled out a black book. I cocked my head and looked at the cover. The Silvercloud owl totem was etched into the cover in gold. Persephone gently traced the owl before opening the book and giggling. “What is so funny?” I asked as I moved closer to look. I’m going to die of embarrassment. The book isn’t some tome of knowledge about the Silvercloud shaman power. No, it’s a photo album, and I don’t know which of my parents chose the first picture.

So excited for the 4 book in the Bloodmoon pack series. It wasn't supposed to come out until next year. So a very happy surprise for me to end the year reading about Silvercloud and Persephone. I hope they have enough fire extinguishers close to his lab. It's no telling what they will be inventing.

To say I love this book is a huge understatement. I knew when this story came up it would be epic and so far I have not been let down at all. I’m kind of glad I have to wait for updates as I doubt I would have enough self control to be able to put it down and get anything done until I’ve read it all

OMG this is an amazing book! I never write reviews on this app, but I had to for this book. I want this in print form so I can read whenever. I'm so invested in Mj's life. I cried, I laughed, sometimes so hard that I would wake up my guy. I will binge read it again when the second book comes out.

I laughed, cried, got mad, and had to remind myself I was reading a book. I became quite engrossed in the story and characters. Your descriptions allowed me to “see” the story vividly in my minds eye. Thank you for sharing your brilliant imagination and for having the courage to publish your work.

But I knew some hill folk—especially a hoodoo man named Clive Hartley—who could read Latin, so I put it aside for later. I looked back into the box and of course, that’s when I found it. The book that’s caused all this trouble. The Way of Ah-Tzenul. Course, that’s not what’s printed on the cover. There’s a picture of some sorta tribal man squatting down with both hands raised to the sky etched into the cover and traced in silver. Otherwise, it’s a plain-looking book, all bound in pebbly black leather.

It was not all, the cover was the eyes of werewolves. My brows furrowed in keen interest as well as something I can't name settling within me. Without thinking further, my hand took out the book and the front cover showed the face of werewolves with its eyes glowing in a golden hue. I brushed my fingers on the cover, mesmerized by the image. It was delicately printed and made.

Even its cover was clean, on the cover had the drawings, that Alpha Angelo couldn't understand. Being the first time to hold the book, he was surprised to see the picture of wolves in their full transformation. A full moon shinning above them, then at the far end of the cover there was a hunter with a ring shinning. It appeared to be a reflection from the moon's light, well, it was strange. It was strange because, Alpha Angelo couldn't understand why the picture of a hunter was on the cover. He wished to call Beta Dagon so that they can read it together, but he remembered.

But hope, like magic, has a price, and I am increasingly aware of that price. The book itself is a work of macabre art. The cover, made of dark leather that almost appears black, pulses with a life of its own, as if it were breathing. The leather is stained with deep shades of red, almost as though it has been soaked in blood over the centuries, giving it a sinister and throbbing appearance. Along the edges of the cover, aged silver chains are interwoven in complex patterns, depicting ancient runes and seals of protection, symbols only an enchantress could decipher. The title of the book is carved into the leather in rustic letters, subtly glinting with ruby, as though the words had been wri

Bound To The Cruel Alphas (SPICY)

Then, he pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it over the back of my desk chair. I froze. I wasn’t prepared for that. I should have been. I’d seen pack-raised boys go shirtless in training a hundred times. It meant nothing. But Percy was not those boys. And this wasn’t training. Seeing him sitting on my bed, completely at ease, broad shoulders, abs, all muscle - it short-circuited several parts of my brain at once. He was perfect. I stared. I knew I was staring. I couldn’t stop. “You could take a picture,” Percy said, without looking up from the laptop. “It would last longer.”

Frequently Asked Questions

I think it's a mix of simplicity and a specific kind of energy from the mid-2000s. The covers aren't overly detailed or busy; they're focused. You get this bold, central image—the lightning bolt, the trident, the ship's mast—against a solid, saturated color background. It feels like a symbol, not a scene. And the font for 'Percy Jackson' is so distinct, that rough-edged, slightly weathered type. It doesn't look like a fantasy epic cover; it looks like the logo for something cool and slightly dangerous a kid would find. That visual shorthand told you exactly what you were getting into before you even read the blurb: modern, mythic, and paced like an action movie.

What seals it for me is the contrast. The ancient symbol rendered in this clean, almost graphic design way. It bridged the gap between the old myths and a contemporary middle-school story perfectly. Later editions with photo-realistic covers or movie tie-ins never captured that same iconic, almost trademark-like feel. The originals were instantly recognizable on a library shelf or a classroom floor. They promised a specific adventure, and they delivered.
