The Mates of Monsters

The Mates of Monsters

I repeat, tasting the word on my tongue. "We are monsters, aren't we?" Nicodra asks deviously. "Yes, we sleep in beds and bathe in showers, eat with forks and knives—cooked foods—but we're beasts. I had heard that a woman of your pack killed her mate. Bizarre, isn't it?" "Tragic, I think," I answer. "I can't lie, it's been on my mind. Horrible, terrible thing." David says, "We're choosing to move on from the incident."

This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE

What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.

The One who does Not Understand Isekai

The One who does Not Understand Isekai

They have abilities that normal people don’t and there are such things as monsters. From her understanding, these monsters are creatures that usually resemble bizarre, deformed, otherworldly, or mutated animals and can even be an entirely unique creatures of varying sizes, but may also take a human form as well. She hasn’t seen many yet but Oma said there were books about these things that she could learn about. At first glance, it seemed like these places were underdeveloped as there was no modern technology and they run pretty much like in the past. But what they could do innately by themselves exceeds that of her people.

Thank you to everyone who took this journey with me at a much slower pace than usual! Is Devlin out? Is she in? Are we ready for a change of scenery? A lot more spice?? Book 2 is the last book in the "Where The Monster's Hide" Series, and is my sole focus until completion. It will be less dark themed, and more spicier, where all the burning questions will be answered and we'll see Devlin elevate - any guesses? Need to know when Book 2 releases? Find our F B group and you'll be the first to see the blurb, the cover reveal, and know when it plans on launching!

Let's Be Together (book 4)

Let's Be Together (book 4)

Barry waited for the girl to make her move, anticipating the moment she’d try to be sneaky, yet she still acted as though she were more enthralled with his first mate’s tale than with stealing anything. The girl stepped closer. Not more than three feet away from her was a ten-inch golden statue of Pegasus. If she tried to steal that expensive artifact, Barry would tackle her right in front of everyone. He crept away from the crates, nearing the girl just in case she slipped something of value beneath her long skirts. A few more buyers gathered around Jeffrey, listening to his first mate’s extravagant storytelling. The thief continued moving closer as though mesmerized. Would she indeed steal

Crave Me, My Monster

Crave Me, My Monster

It was large and could fit at least 500 people, yet, the people scattered around would not be more than 200, all consisting of various elite families in country M. As though reality had stopped, the air had turned still as all eyes turned to us. Various surprised gazes, some marred with awe, and some with envy. Some directed at me, and some at Rael. Yet, he didn't care. He merely pulled me deeper into the hall, coming face to face with Mathew Beaumont–head of the Beaumont family. “Mr Morgan,” the man nodded, making Rael's gaze move to him. From the corner of my eyes, I had caught someone staring at me, and I turned to see Kylie's gaze on me.

The Savage Luna and Her Six Obsessive Monsters

Maybe it was who would survive her and who which monster can tame her monster. And as I turned back into the dark, I knew one thing for sure, sharing or not, I’d burn down the world before I let anyone take her from me.

To Marry a Monster

To Marry a Monster

Did he spend the entire night mapping out our territory lines without returning to bed? My heart hammering against my ribs, I threw a heavy wool shawl over my shoulders and raced down the dark corridors. Several lower-ranking house servants had already gathered in the central hall, their ears pinned back in alarm. I hurried toward the main kitchen line when I spotted Lucien’s massive silhouette standing near the hearth, and as I approached, the sound of pathetic weeping hit my ears. Bryce was curled into a tight ball on the flagstones, his entire frame vibrating with terror as he repeated the word “ghost” over and over like a maddened rogue wolf.

My Monstrous Husband.

My Monstrous Husband.

My voice betraying the urgency that had overwhelmed me, "Let me go you monster!!" I snarled, my teeth clenched in rage, but my words seemed to fall on deaf ears, as he matched on, adamant to his course, dragging me to the middle of his opulent living room, but I was too focused on escaping from his iron grasp to admire the sight that was before me, suddenly, his voice rang out, "Butler Joe!" He bellowed, his voice reverberating in the spacious living room, bearing the weight of the hatred and anger in his heart, as he stopped right at the center of the room,

It was the one. She kept the book well because this was the last thing she saw her mother touch before she died. The cover of the book was a fierce monster. It was the same golden statue in her other hand. She opened it and immediately, all the memories of the horror book came to her…

A Deal with Desire

it boomed, its voice echoing with malice, "but your victory is short-lived. Look around you!" Evie and Liam looked up, a wave of dread washing over them as they saw what the monster meant. The crack at the base of the chamber had grown wider, the swirling vortex of darkness within pulsating with an unnatural intensity. From the inky blackness, more sinister shapes began to emerge – monstrous creatures unlike anything they had ever seen, their forms dripping with malice and power. "This world has been tainted," the monster continued, its voice dripping with sadistic glee. "The darkness has a foothold now, and it will not be easily dislodged. Soon, Aethel will be consumed, and you with it!"
