HIS LOVE

HIS LOVE

'Oh to wo hathi or bhens to mujhe Armeen ne bola tha, Haina? ( Oh so the one calling me name was Armeen right?) As it dawned upon her, she gasped. Us Hira ko to chorungi nahi. She thought. But then she played it cool. ' bola hoga, mujhe Kiya pata. Or wese bhi Sach karwa hi hota hai, chahe kisi ne bhi bola ho'. ( Maybe she said that, and anyways truth is always bitter, whether it's coming from a stranger).

HER CEO EX HUSBAND

HER CEO EX HUSBAND

she said, her voice choked with emotion. Larisa felt a lump form in her throat as she hugged them back. She had always felt like a part of their family, even after her divorce from Marcellus. Their kind words and gestures only confirmed that feeling. Larisa walked down the dimly lit hallway, her heart racing with a mixture of relief and gratitude. She had just saved the life of her son's father, Marcellus, in a high-stakes surgery that had left her physically and emotionally drained. As she approached the door to the Surgeon's Locker, she took a deep breath and steadied herself before unlocking the door and retrieving her clothes.

Navy Em
I enjoyed the good read. It was definitely a nice change from similar stories. It ended with 121 chapters so that's a plus for me. The characters' development was great through the story. I would say it needed more work in the romance department. It was like high school romance in the 1990s.

HIS REVENGE, HER REDEMPTION

HIS REVENGE, HER REDEMPTION

Melenia POV Sitting on my couch in front of my TV with a bowl of popcorn and soda, I watched the award ceremony. My eyes were glued to it, my fingers gripping my controller like a lifeline, waiting for my boyfriend to make an appearance. Luke Higgins, is the only man that I have known romantically since I was in college and my partner for the past couple of years. We met when he was going for his first acting audition, and in a rush, he bumped into me as we were getting on the train, and it was something out of the movie.

His & Hers

His & Hers

“Even a goalie who throws the ball in the net ten times in a single match wouldn’t be dumb enough to come up with a name like that. You must think you’re Mr. Terrific or something.” Santiago chuckled as he slid the phone back into his pocket. “Mr. Terrific. That was actually funny. Okay, you got me. What would you suggest?” Lola shook her head repeatedly. “No, no, no. I’m not in any position to replace such an already awesome name. I’m not the Tony Stark wanna be here.” “Neither am I. Stark is such a ripoff. I’m Mr. Terrific, remember?” “You wish,” Lola scoffed as she swept her hair away from her face. “You’re just a washed-up bad boy living on daddy’s money.”

The Loyal Spartan

The Loyal Spartan

I caught him in the corridor, just before he reached his chambers to arm himself. "Androkles," I said, my voice low and urgent. He turned, his expression unreadable. "Hypatos." "Listen to me," I said, my gaze intense. "That thing out there... It's not a glorious battlefield trophy. It's not a test to be passed. It's chaos and terror given flesh. It doesn't fight with honor or strategy. It just... destroys. Don't be a hero. Be smart. Be a survivor. Come back." For a moment, something flickered in his eyes, a hint of the boy beneath the warrior. Then it was gone, replaced by the familiar, unnerving calm.

Her Resolve

Her Resolve

“Not yet. Not until I find her and get her back.” Work will hold me together. It always does. Numbers don’t care. Decisions don’t ask questions. Staff doesn’t notice cracks as long as you stand upright. By the time I walk into the office, the mask is in place. Andre Sebastian. Most competent. Focused. Controlled. Unreadable. No one knows I stood in a town this morning that proved, definitively, that hope is a liability. No one sees how much further I’ve fallen. And no one notices that I’m not recovering—

The Transferees

The Transferees

To her surprise, it was a red-haired guy from another school, which uniform she was not familiar with. "Hey, Hero! Don't interfere in this!" said the man who talked to her first. "You are in MY territory," the guy named Hero said firmly, declaring his authority over his claimed territory. The three men laughed. "Territory? It's already outside the Morsons' gate. You've got no authority here," said the man holding her. Without warning, Hero rushed at him and kicked him in the face. The guy fell to the ground, loosening his grip on her. She instantly freed herself and ran towards her savior.

She nodded again and again, taking the badge with both hands, her voice breaking. "Thank you, Eleanor. Thank you!" The comments exploded again–this time in gold. [Damn! That level of grace; insane!] [This is what a true female lead looks like–lifting someone out of the abyss instead of holding a grudge!] [Girls help girls! The Hero King

But, this wasn't the subject right now. “Do you know what is the difference between a naive fool and a hero of justice?" She clenched her fist, a fierce expression on her face. "It's their strength. The first requirement of being a hero isn’t being right. It’s being strong. That’s why the hero always wins.”

Her Resistance

Her Resistance

Why should her innocent, defenseless family pay such a horrific price for a battle they never asked to join? "I can't live without Pari, Mum... I'll literally die," Isha sobbed hysterically, her knuckles turning bone-white as she clutched the faded fabric of her mother's saree. "I need my daughter back right now... I just want my Pari home!" Isha looked up slowly at Divya, her red-rimmed eyes filled with profound sorrow and absolute defeat. "He isn’t human, Divya. He's a wild beast. A terrifying, heartless monster who will destroy anything and anyone just to satisfy his ruthless ego. Anything!"
