Caught Between Two Lovers

Caught Between Two Lovers

Just as he was about to take a sip, Hela appeared behind Ares with her hands on her hips. "Big broooooo!!!! Is Big Bro taking Grey out for drinks again?!" ** Grey entered the Zeus—Corp building. The name Zeus was a joke created by Ares based on his and Hela's characters. According to Ares, he was the god of war, and Hela was the mother of the gods, so it was fitting for his company to have the name of the king of gods.

Vashti's Daughter

Vashti's Daughter

It was a bit of a stretch to associate lice with the dust of the earth, but that’s where they came from. We get the infestation of flies from Khepri, the Egyptian God of creation, movement of the Sun, rebirth because he had the head of a fly. Hathor-Egyptian Goddess of Love and Protection was depicted with the head of a cow, which was the motivation of the next plague, that of the death of cattle and livestock. We’re not quite sure why Isis, the Egyptian Goddess of Medicine, was associated with the infliction of boils and sores other than the plague, was in direct contradiction to a medical god. Nut was the Egyptian Goddess of the Sky.

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

The Omega and Her Three Wolves

Ruby let out a heavy sigh. “We did, but Jessica thought maybe there was more to it than just framing her. These ancient goddesses had magic and power in their own right, and she thinks maybe they were legends born of extremely powerful witches. Or maybe they’re actual goddesses that we can appeal to for our own magical needs.” I ran a hand through my hair. “Who did she think you were associated with, then?” “There’s a goddess named Vesta who is associated with the home hearth and an eternal fire.”

From Apollo’s Betrayed Bride to Hades’ Queen

From Apollo’s Betrayed Bride to Hades’ Queen

The meek, quiet woman who had withered in the Temple of Light was gone forever. "You are beautiful, Lyra," Hades said, appearing behind me. His eyes were full of awe. He took my hand and pressed a kiss to my fingertips. "Today, all the realms will witness you become my one and only, to share my throne and my eternity." When Hades and I walked side-by-side into the grand hall, the gods of Olympus were already assembled. Their faces were a mixture of astonishment and a complex, veiled discomfort. After all, just a few months ago, I had been Apollo's betrothed.

Asterion

Asterion

I doubt many will ever care to read this. I doubt many will believe my story let alone that I wrote it with my hand. But all you are about to read is true. This is the story of my life. I am a bastard, a monster, a deity, and the first of my kind. I am Asterion of Crete. You may know me better as Minotaur. I was born at sunset of the summer solstice to Queen Pasiphaë. Before my birth, King Minos and everyone in Crete thought I would be their ninth child and heir to the throne. However, at my birth, it became very apparent my mother had been unfaithful.

Such an interesting & sweet twist to the Minotaur's story. Loved it! Asterion was so well depicted & emotionally drawn. The ending & epilogues were just so heart touching. I was very moved by the ending. Thanks for a very lovely, moving story.

I loved this story. I started reading it twice before, then just read it all way through over the last couple of days. I really want more like this! It was such a great twist on the Minotaur Myths and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Ember Of Love

Ember Of Love

she said as her tears fall continuously. "We've been waiting for you to come home." Ana Mae stared at the man standing behind her real mother. "How silly of I, I forgot to introduce you to everyone," Aphrodite chuckled. "This is your father, Hephaestus the God of fire and blacksmith," she introduced her husband to their daughter. Hephaestus wasn't able to stop himself from crying and hugging his daughter. He rushed towards her and gave her a warm hug which made Ana Mae flattered.

Secret Spy in High School

Secret Spy in High School

Or was it due to the fear of the danger that Freya can bring upon the whole wide world? “So this is why you needed protection.” Hestia replied, trying to subside her anger as best that she could. Now, the mission assigned to her and Albert makes sense. Why the Senior Cheerleader--- who seemed to be innocent and pure--- needed some protection from the dangers from the Underworld. It is because people are hunting her, not because of the fortune that was placed on her or because of the fame and wealth that her parents has; it was because she has the Pandora’s Box. Everyone would want to have that and use it to whatever they want. Whatever. They. Want. Freya nodded as an answer. “But why the nee

My Mate, My Killer

My Mate, My Killer

“And let us see if there was a mistake that happened earlier.” “Why would I follow your order?” “I said,” Zarion's husky and steel voice echoed in the room, “call your fiancee and tell her to get her ass. Right. Now.” Alpha Brandon’s head turned upwards and I saw how his jaw clenched. Silence reverberated in the temple for as long as I can remember. I believe he was now calling her fiancee—or let me change that term—he was mind-linking Hestia to come here to the magnificent Moon Goddess’ Temple. It didn’t take any more time because a fairy-looking woman was sauntering towards our front; her glistening skin was as white as Snow White, complimenting the vibrant bloody red dress she was wearing

His Untouchable Omega

His Untouchable Omega

"I am Hestia. I have been sitting in this cave for forty years, waiting for a Silver Omega to walk through that door. I thought your father had ended the line when he sold you to that monster in the city." Lyra lowered her knife, but she didn't let go of it. "My father is a coward. But the blood didn't die with him. It’s here. And it’s in my child." Hestia nodded slowly, her gaze drifting to Lyra’s stomach. "The True Heir. The Council thinks they can kill a legend, but legends don't die easily. They just hide until the world is ready to bleed for them." The old woman gestured to a pile of soft furs near the fire. "Sit. Eat. You are exhausted, and the shadow of the Enforcer is still clinging

House Of Zeus

House Of Zeus

I watched as the other gods hurriedly moved around the Mansion. Zeus, the father of the gods, and Hera, his wife emerged from the doorway in all their glory and might. His majestic outfit shone like pure gold, and his chest-length beard, swept freely along his neck. His waist length, white hair brightened the room.
