“Well, Hex, what did we learn? '' He barked before throwing Rori in Murdok’s direction, like she was an old shirt. Murdok caught Rori by the shoulders before she could hit the ground and pulled her upright. The large silent creature tried to let her go, but she crumbled again, so he placed one arm around her waist and pressed her back to his bare chest, preventing her from falling. Rori grabbed Murdok’s arm and groaned as he pushed their bodies together, her entire being hurt from the inside out and her head felt exactly the way you would expect it to if someone put two very long sharp needles into your brain and then wiggled them around.
