Addicted to His Bitter Rival

Addicted to His Bitter Rival

Two prominent companies in sustained competition drew attention toward the competition and away from everything else. He thought about that. About how much of their history looked different now. Every aggressive move Lucian had made in the market, every deal they had fought over, every public friction between Thorne Dynamics and Kael's company had created noise. Sustained, legitimate, well-documented noise. The kind that made both of them visible in ways that had nothing to do with Adrian. The rivalry hadn't just been real. It had been useful. Kael pressed his thumb against his mouth and stared at the screen.

Pure Pleasures (A Collection of short Stories)

Pure Pleasures (A Collection of short Stories)

“I see you staring at my ass during every comp. Bet you go home and finger yourself thinking about it, huh?” Alex laughed right in her face, real low and mean. “Staring ‘cause it’s funny watching you pretend you belong on the same platform as me. Keep dreaming, Hale.” The gym was dead empty now. The front desk dude had locked the main doors and bounced early like he always did on slow nights. No cleaning crew yet. Just the two of them and all that built-up hate crackling in the air. Jordan shoved past her hard, shoulder checking Alex on purpose as she headed for the locker room. Alex followed right behind, because walking away wasn’t an option. Not with this bitch. Their rivalry had been nas

The Rival's Secret Play

The Rival's Secret Play

He pushed it open just an inch. "It's empty," he whispered. "Come on." We climbed out into a luxurious office. It smelled like expensive cigars and old money. But before we could reach the door, it swung open. It wasn't a guard. It was Cassian Vale, Maxwell’s biggest rival. He was holding a gun, and he was pointing it straight at Maxwell’s chest. "I knew you'd come this way, Thorne," Cassian said with a crooked smile. "But you’re a bit late. The police are already at the gates. And they aren't here for the ring."

Once His Mate, Now His Rival

Once His Mate, Now His Rival

Snapping out of his realization, Damon took two steps forward, his body boiling with barely restrained anger. "You dare lay your hands on me mutt?" He snarled. Marcus let out a low growl, his aura flaring in response. "Do not touch my girlfriend." With that, the two alphas glared at one another, their aura clashing. A faint almost invincible aura rippled between them like a phantom storm. By now, several onlookers had begun to gather, whispering among themselves as they stole curious glances. To them, it looked like an ordinary argument between two men. They couldn’t possibly understand that the beasts beneath their skins were seconds away from breaking free.

Broken by One, Desired by All

Broken by One, Desired by All

And then our eyes had met. Something had clicked. Not friendship. Not respect. Hatred. Pure, unadulterated hatred. Because Miles had seen me... really seen me, and he had known, in that instant, that I was his rival. And I had known the same. We had clashed from the very beginning. Every test. Every trial. Every damned assignment. If I was first, he was second, and vice versa. If I won a duel, he challenged me to another. If he proved himself in combat, I pushed myself harder, faster, stronger. It had been a war... one without bloodshed, but no less brutal for it.

I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

The Bad Boy’s Fight Club

The Bad Boy’s Fight Club

I hadn't noticed that he had turned into a lone abandoned looking house on a street I'm pretty sure I had never been on. He parked and turned to face me completely. "They probably just wanted to prove a point." He spoke. "What point?" I demanded. "And don't say I wouldn't understand because I am so tired of Kaden and everyone treating me like I'm just some kid who wouldn't get it." Shark searched my face and there was something in his look that I couldn't decipher. He sighed. "Rival gangs, especially up and coming ones usually start wars with the gangs on top. And right now, that's Kaden's and Dylan's gang - the Black Wolves."

The Bad Boy's Favorite Girl

The Bad Boy's Favorite Girl

Whistling from the girls and eye scanning from the boys commenced the moment the principal mentioned that. "So, let me categorically state this, Dreamville high would have the best prom ever and we would show everyone and that includes Lakewood High that we are the better school" There was a loud cheer again with everyone standing to their feet. The rivalry between my school and Lakewood High would still go down to be one of the best in the history of highschools and I could only but imagine what started this rivalry; Mac Lee and Liam, two former friends turn enemy. Anyways, after the principal made her speech, I made my way out of the hall and stepped into the main hall, hoping to get to cl

THE HIDDEN RIVAL

THE HIDDEN RIVAL

He staggered, spit red, but his answer wasn’t retreat. It was a hook. Sloppy, but real. It caught me across the cheek. I laughed, blood on my teeth. “There it is. Your first bite.” His grin was half-feral. “Then keep feeding me.” The night it happened, the pit was overflowing. Word had spread — Rival fights till death. Rival can’t be killed. Rival is the pit. The rails bent under the weight of bodies pressing close, cash flying, chants deafening.

Hired by my family Rival

Hired by my family Rival

Reporters shouted over one another while images of the Anderson family filled the screen. Mia smirked. “I have to admit, seeing Luke dragged away like that was satisfying.” Rachel’s lips curved slightly, but the darkness in her eyes remained. “It’s a shame Mr. Daniels couldn’t be arrested too,” Mia added. Rachel placed her glass down carefully. “That’s okay,” she said quietly. “I just want the empire built on my parents’ blood to crumble.” The hatred in her voice was impossible to miss. Mia studied her carefully before speaking again. “Speaking of the Andersons… what about Austin?”
