Her Ethereal Curse

Her Ethereal Curse

Blair made her voice loud and clear for Gavin and Lady Monika to understand which they both nodded in agreement. “Great. See you next week, Clara,” Blair said as she and Cordelia hopped on their carriage. “This is going to be perfect!” Lady Monika told Gavin. “This is going to be a nightmare,” I whispered to myself. — 1913, London, England As the days passed, I was sitting on my study desk when I remembered that today was the trip to the zoo. I already bought myself a ticket to New York but I wanted to contemplate and to think about my decision before I actually go there. But then the memory of Lady Monika and Gavin alone in another country annoys me so much that I decided to go. I tidied up

Darkest Love (cursed)

Darkest Love (cursed)

he whispered brokenly The pendant gleamed as he casted a spell to it A spell that would always lead them to each other...... The wind and rain pounded heavily outside which contrast what it was like inside the cave It was warm and filled with lights as Herak closed his eyes in death His heart could never live without her............. Zara wiped of the tears of sadness that had escaped from her eyes, it always made her cry uncontrollably each time she read through the ending of Herak and Ara.

Beneath the Immortal Sky: A Heart Left Burning

Beneath the Immortal Sky: A Heart Left Burning

“It took you weeks to figure that out?” He straightened, half-defensive. “I was processing.” She dropped her head onto his shoulder. He looped his arm around her, and they stood quietly while the gold outside faded into soft blue. Lihua remembered the girl she’d been at the start. The fire, the cave, the climb—an entire year wrestling with herself; politics, secrets, the ceremony, all the jagged in-betweens. Nothing was easy, but it all meant something. She’d thought that old well inside her was dried up for good, but it turned out there was water running underneath, just waiting for the right time, the right person to draw it up. Someone stubborn. Someone who could believe when there was on

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

She chuckles to herself, and he glares at her. Vali was reading another book aloud, ‘Childhood Memories’ by Ion Creangă. It wasn’t overly interesting as plots go, a memoir of sorts, but apparently it was considered a good book by a lot of people. They hadn’t gotten that far into it yet, maybe it gets more interesting later on. Seth seems annoyed at Vali being accepted company and him not. She finishes eating and lays down, closing her eyes to listen to Vali’s soothing voice. Seth storms off after a while.

Shadow And Flame Chronicles Book 1 Ethereal Bonds

Shadow And Flame Chronicles Book 1 Ethereal Bonds

Chapter 3 Dawn Ellery's point of view I wake to sunlight spilling through a gap in heavy curtains, painting a golden stripe across unfamiliar silk sheets. My body feels like it's been run over by a truck, muscles screaming in protest as I push myself to sitting position. The room spins briefly, reality reassembling itself in fragments—the chase through neon-soaked streets, the shimmering barrier, Sorin's rage as the doors closed between us. And then... them. The twins with dragon-green eyes who looked at me like they knew every secret I'd ever kept, even from myself.

MOONBOUND DESIRE

MOONBOUND DESIRE

And underneath that— Something older. A memory. --- Elira stepped closer, and the Rift responded. Suddenly, her vision split. She was standing in a black sky. Stars raged like storms above her. A vast hall stretched into forever—pillars of crystal and bone, lit by a molten river of light. At the center: a throne of silence. And on it, a figure cloaked in robes woven from dusk. Eyes like twin eclipses opened—and looked straight at her. > You have returned.

Aether's Obsession

Aether's Obsession

Third-person POV The archives were silent except for the faint chime of crystal shelves shifting to display requested texts. Lirian had come here after an evening meal, seeking solitude among the glowing data orbs. The confrontation in Hydralis still burned in his chest—anger, confusion, and that persistent, humiliating slickness that refused to fade. He needed answers. Any answers. He didn’t hear Draven approach. One moment, he was reaching for a hovering orb labeled “Aether Resonance Cycles”; the next, a tall shadow blocked the light.

The Secretly Rich Man

retorted Yreth, her voice now both cold and gloomy. “I’m glad to hear it! You know, it was the Herculean Primordial Spirit’s eighth reincarnation back when Jaellatra was still in turmoil. In order to obtain the Herculean Primordial Spirit, I attempted to break through the gap and come all the way to earth. Little did I know that I had severely underestimated the power of the gap. Upon crossing over, I was immediately struck by lightning, and my entire being was reduced to ashes. Not only that, but the thought of my soul was also trapped by others! Ever since that day, I’ve been far away from my family… With that in mind, if anyone should be anxious, it’s me!”

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

III The night was dark, darker than any other night before. Iltiras walked down the lonely path, the darkness didn’t bother him. He was more than curious what will happen on this path in the middle of the night. Stories were told about power-eating demons and faeries that attack travelers around midnight. He wanted to see them for himself, or as he liked to say with eyes unclouded. No one really dared to walk the path alone; no one wanted to because of the trees and their long, dreadful shadows, which fell on them, that looked like men with bony fingers that ended with talons. The leaves in their bases were bloody red in color. His leg stepped on one of the piles that were in his way, he exp
