Beneath the Winter Moon

Beneath the Winter Moon

A crescent moon nestled in faintly clouded glass, with three tiny snowflake crystals dangling from the edge like frozen stars. She reached out, fingers hovering just above it, heart tightening. WinterMoon. Her home. Or… the home she left behind. The sound of the crowd softened behind her. The music faded. That charm—that moment—was WinterMoon. The night skies. The quiet hush of snowfall on the hills. The scent of pine and frost and something wild. It was the silence of the woods and the hum of belonging. Her throat tightened. The warmth she’d felt only moments ago didn’t vanish—but it dimmed. The edges of it curled in on themselves. She didn’t touch the charm. She didn’t have to. Just lookin

HONEY, WE MEET AGAIN

HONEY, WE MEET AGAIN

Heira said. "Oh... so who the fuck is the one who ruined our wedding? I'm going to beat the shit out of them."Xyneth said which made Heira smile then she changed the subject to avoid herself fron spilling some more secrets. "By the way, have you already read the novel that I brought for you?"She asked and Xyneth nodded. "Yup, already done." "And?" She gave her a thumbs up, "It was so smooth and beautiful. I felt like I'm going to cry about how good the storyline and the plot was so good. My rating will be 101% over 100%."

Beyond the Starlit River

Beyond the Starlit River

"The dead are gone, Your Highness. You must take care of yourself. Though the prince consort and the young lord have passed, this great residence still needs you to hold it together." Mother's eyes lost focus. She smiled bitterly. "What residence? Gideon and Eli are gone. What use do I have for such a large estate alone?" Her face turned ashen. She clutched her head, drowning in guilt and collapse. Only when the physician began packing his things did Mother's gaze land on the bloodstains on the floor. Her voice came out hoarse. "Doctor Harlow, your skill is known throughout the army. Why have you returned to the capital?"

Lyra's Journey

Lyra's Journey

The sun dipped low in the sky, casting a blood-red hue across the horizon as the first stars of twilight emerged. Lyra stood on a cliff overlooking the vast ocean, her heart-shaped face illuminated by the dying light. The wind whipped through her wild tangles of hair, and she breathed deeply, savoring the salt-tinged air. It was here, at the edge of the world, that her final showdown with Arthur would take place. The ancient ruins of a long-forgotten civilization lay scattered around them, their crumbling stones a testament to the passage of time and the impermanence of all things.

Alpha Draven's Regret: The Return of His Rejected Mate

Alpha Draven's Regret: The Return of His Rejected Mate

Eira’s Journey Eira’s POV The night the Crescent Moon fell into silence, I was already far from the packhouse, hunting shadows that refused to die. They said the war was ending. That Zaira had been defeated. That peace was finally within reach. But I knew better. Evil never really dies. It lingers like smoke after fire, drifting through the cracks of memory, waiting for the wind to stir it awake again.

The alpha’s forgotten mate

The alpha’s forgotten mate

“When the binding sealed. There was… a recoil. Not from the Hunger. From somewhere else.” Eira nodded slowly. “The same thing Lyra sensed before she collapsed.” The low hum Lyra had dreamed of stirred again, faint but undeniable, like distant thunder rolling beneath the world. “Something woke up,” Lyra said. “Yes,” Eira replied. “Or more accurately, something noticed us.” Silence pressed in around them, heavier than the cold. Kael straightened, scanning the horizon. The frostlands stretched endlessly in every direction, white ridges, frozen spires, vast plains of ice reflecting a sky bruised purple and gray. Beautiful. Empty.

Hunter Bride

Hunter Bride

Hetha looked the most human out of all of our squad, with her curly red hair and freckles, her ears were easy to hide, and the hourglass frame and green eyes could be traits of any mortal around. “You and I both know that hiding our wings is second nature, we only show them when we need them.” She paused, “I am sorry that we didn’t run it by you first.” She added, sensing my anger.” “While the Berserkers are trying to get information from the target, we will use this downtime to train.” Hestia groaned, “Oh, come on, can’t we have fun for once? All we ever do is train and missions.” “And because of that, we have never been unsuccessful in a mission.” I pointed out.

Shadows of the Past

Shadows of the Past

Slowly, the darkness fell, and instead of the sun, the moon rose in the sky, more majestic than the most precious jewel. The night that fell was growing colder and colder and the pain in my soul was growing harder and harder to bear. I felt lost. I was a man without a future. Feeling scared and overwhelmed, I took tiny steps into a future that looked like a canyon. I hated it, but I also loved it madly. I couldn’t forget her stony face or the venomous eyes I saw the night of the accident. But I couldn’t get out of my heart her naïve, pained, passionate nature with which she had captivated me. Who was the real Emily? What could I do now that I knew the truth? When I was totally lost, I felt a

Yearning for Her Return

Yearning for Her Return

"Don't worry, Ms. Johnson. If I can't get out and return to Seardale, I will take you with me on the road to the netherworld." Almost all his energy was drained upon uttering the last sentence. No one said anything after that. They continued their journey on the hill. The hill was even more difficult to trek than the one in Riverwood. It was located further south and had seen much more rainfall. It was not surprising that the trees here were taller, and the ground was wet and slippery. This made it difficult to trek. Even the person leading the way was walking very slowly and almost stumbled. What was even worse was the insects resided on the hill. As if they had absorbed the moisture of thi

Ellen Addawe
I like the depth of this book, the character of the FL wherein she learns a lot in her life experiences, her moving on from the past and enjoying her life in the present. Not the typical love story wherein after all the heartaches, betrayal & rejection, still the FL gives the ML a second chance.

I stopped reading this book the moment Rebecca got married to someone else and Daniel is dying of late stage cancer, after all he suffered in the hands of his evil brother and family, I expected a happy ending for him and Rebecca but the writer chose other wise. He doesn't deserve this tragic ending
