His Second Mate Novels & Stories

"I will call both of them to meet, and then you will reject them one after the other in my presence. I will not let you be alone with them. Once that is done, I am certain that you will not feel this way again." Anna thought about how she was going to face Matt and Evans and felt even more guilty. She closed her eyes. "This is going to be very difficult," she said. Alex stroked her hair, "I know it's unusual that you have three mates. I have personally never heard of it before, and... I'm ashamed to even talk about it in public. Otherwise, I would have Perhaps gotten to know more about it. However, this is for the best. I cannot share you, just as I would not ask you to share me."

What had happened out there? “And your mate is in the hospital.” I add as he brushes past me. He freezes, but keeps his composure. “My mate was killed. I will never have another mate.” “We both know it doesn’t work like that. Damien is Raven’s second mate. Maybe it was time for you to be mated again.” He slowly turns his body around until he is facing me. “I don’t know what you think you know, Neah. I. Do not. Have. A. Mate!”

Never knew the reason why, until he rejected me…’ The moment Ellie thought back to the rejection, she placed a gentle hand over her belly. “A third mate, huh…” she breathed out. Even now, Ellie couldn’t believe it. A third mate? How…? She understood having a second mate, but a third one? ‘Can it… have anything to do with my lost memories?’ she wondered then.

” Zayyan said, eager to move the deal along. The captain nodded and turned around, showing them the way. The first mate, whose name Rhys never learned, followed behind. He was an older man, his skin weathered, hair long and straggly, white and grey with a short beard. He watched Rhys warily. Rhys could feel the man scanning his body from behind. Again, it wasn’t because of any vulgar lust, but he seemed to be suspicious of him. It might have something to do with him kneeing his captain in the groin.

I asked Nabbo. “We will go further into the marshes. There are more of our kind and the lizards are less likely to follow.” He looked over my shoulder towards Mandy. “I see you’ve picked out a second mate already. You’re a very surprising human.” This conversation would have been embarrassing enough in private, but it wasn’t. He was speaking nice and loud. “She isn’t a second mate. I don’t even have a first mate.”

“I charged him and refused to be healed after we got too rough…I don’t like Bahm mistreating you. It’s hurts me very much as your second mate.” I look up at him and wipe my tears from my eyes. I wasn’t sure if I heard him correctly. All I knew is he was worried about me. So worried, he’s calling himself my second mate whom doesn’t agree with this at all. Instinctively, I stood up from my seat and walked over to him. I was touched. He stands too and I open my arms to hug him, running right into his chest and bawling. Apologizing to him. Telling him I’ll behave so he doesn’t get hurt.

He nods slowly, avoiding eye contact. ”But... What happened to your first mate?” I question. ”I... Umm... I kicked her out of the pack,” he replies. ”What? Why?” “She... She got pregnant by another male. A rogue.” My eyes widen in surprise. “Wait, wait, wait... Tell me the whole story,” I demand. ”Okay, well... There was a girl named Emma Thomas in this pack. When I turned 18 I realized that she was my mate. We spent almost 4 months together, but she would never let mark her-“ he starts off.

he explained. " Who is Hailey?" He was hesitant at first " Hailey was Zion's Mate" Mate? It rang in my head. " His mate, how? I thought you were only allowed to have just one mate So why is his case different?" I was totally confused. " Because of the high ranker he is, Zion was blessed with two mates. He can only get the second one only after he loses the first mate to death. He's been through a lot Ella. He might seem ok but my friend isn't ok at all. A lot went on in his life that you have no idea about "

He says it with a wink that looks effortlessly seductive, causing my heart to pound. “She lets you call her babe? She wouldn’t even let me call her firecracker,” my red haired mate huffs out on an indignant breath, his shoulders slumping as I glance back at him. I bring my palm up to my forehead in exasperation and Nick snorts out a choked laugh, apparently amused by my frustration and confusion. “Okay can we get back on track here?” I ask, raising my hands to get their attention. It’s pretty obvious by now that my third mate is part of the Weavers pack. What hasn’t been answered is who the hell he is.

“I don’t know, babe. It’s just my intuition speaking. I think you should wait for all your mates to mark you so that you can mark us all together.” I sigh and tell him, “I still don’t know who my third mate is, Parker. How am I supposed to find him?” I watch as he smiles and says, “Oh, babe. If I were you, I wouldn’t worry too much. Peter and I came into your life when you least expected it. The same will happen with the third on board.” I nod as I tell him, “When you say it like that, you might be right. But, in any case, it doesn’t mean that it’s unfair that you can hear Mia or feel my emotions, and I can’t.”
