I snapped at him while leaving the office. I went upstairs to my bedroom, and I put the books on the bedside table and the first one I grabbed was called 'The History Of Morda'. I poured myself a drink and I sat on the bed and opened it to the first page. It was established in the 1300's and it was a mystical land full of creatures that didn't belong on Earth. Someone didn't want them to be extinct, so they created Morda and sent the creatures to live there. Dragons and beats and Ogre's. Dangerous creatures. Why would anyone want to save those animals?

He was grossly outnumbered and the odds were in the favor of Nikjin and his army. She wondered what had become of her father; of Monah, the head warrior, of Seisa, and the other servants. This book does try to stay as truthful to the time period as possible and the legends and folk tales of the places it tackles, however, some historical anachronisms may happen, and sometimes I will favour fiction over historical accuracy. The first story is complete and ready for you to enjoy.

Alexis nodded as she spoke, she was fairly confident her brain conjured up all these creatures to distract her from her impending death. It's either history, military, or supernatural romances. I've never understood why so many people preferred such kinds of novels and genres all that much. Though, I meant that for the latter part. They're basically the same every single time. An average lady meets one sexy, handsome, extraordinary man, or two hot males battle over her, and there's usually some ridiculous drama that brings her further and deeper together with the men, and then she has to choose the obvious decision. Everyone had predicted her decision since the very beginning of the chapter. "And they're usually sequels or fantasy epics," I mumbled to myself.

The space was vast, filled with tall wooden shelves that stretched from wall to wall, every inch lined with books. “Ugh, the library’s never been my favorite place,” Anna muttered, glancing around with slight distaste. Just then, a woman approached them. She looked like she worked there, wearing a name tag and a warm smile. “Good morning, ladies. "I borrowed it from the library. It's amazing how good that book is. The writer is crazy. I've been exploring different genres lately, though." I nodded, sensing a shared interest emerging. "I love exploring new genres. It's like entering different worlds without leaving the comfort of your room. But I’m going to stick with my sci-fi.” I said, it sounded like a joke and Brenda laughed about it. “Have you ever tried reading historical fiction? Echoes of Time is one of my favourites." Excitement danced in my eyes. “Yes, I've read that one too. The way it weaves history and fiction together is pretty good. Do you enjoy the historical aspects as much as the story itself?"

The usual genres one would expect to find at a book fair, too: history, fiction, non-fiction, folklore, fantasy, fairytales… everything. I had wondered and hoped that I could find the fiction book about the female alpha, but there was nothing of the sort to be found. I would rummage through the boxes each day, hoping to find something, but nothing. Nothing at all. Picking up a large pile of books from a box, I strolled towards a table that was getting empty to fill it up again.

Rose saw her youth then in the glowing eyes, and she didn’t have the heart to tell her that they may never see that apothecary again. Rose had even witnessed the king strip a maiden and shackle her to the floor in his throne room after she tried to steal food from the palace. She was treated worse than his dogs. It was horrible to view and only strengthened her resolve on not allowing a man to ever treat her that way.
