The Prince I Love to Hate: The Heir Affair Book One

The Prince I Love to Hate: The Heir Affair Book One

At the bottom of the shelf, though, were a handful of romance novels—in English, no less. I pulled out a historical romance by a favorite author of mine. I hadn’t read this one, and I’d already finished the one romance I’d brought with me. I was a total bore and preferred to read printed books still. Probably because they smelled nice. If e-readers could let out a puff of new-book scent, though, I’d buy one in a heartbeat. “The Seduction of Miss Emily Morris,” Olivier read over my shoulder. “That rather gives the plot away, no?”

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

The Alpha's Replacement Bride

"What's this?" "Romance novel," said Harriet. “...” Liam was speechless at first, but then slowly raised his voice, “But they… started making love to each other in chapter two?” "Mm-hm," Harriet nodded casually. Liam turned his head back to get a better look at Harriet's expression. “And you, my dear wife, can read things… like this… with such a straight face?” Harriet glanced at him and smiled. “I can read this novel in the middle of a restaurant without making any reactions now that I'm used to it.”

All The Wrong Reasons

All The Wrong Reasons

But when she looked into his eyes, they were dancing again. She smiled shyly. “I started writing a novel. And…I drew out the character after you.” He raised a brow. “Really? What type of novel?” She shrugged. “Historical romance. You were a rogue knight. For sure you were a rakehell.” She giggled. He asked. “Was there a red-haired damsel in distress?” She stared back at him. His eyes were sparkling. She nodded shyly. “And how did that turn out?” he asked.

Great Story & definitely worth a read. I do wish the book had better editing & proofreading. This author is extremely talented, but the little errors here & there keep the book at A- level instead of A+. I do wish the female leads, especially in this story, were a bit brighter & street smart.

Love You Like I Used To? Forget It!

Love You Like I Used To? Forget It!

So, she chooses to be with the second love interest, the one who has always loved her, instead. "But once he has her, the guy would stop cherishing the protagonist. Some even go so far as to say they'd die for her. Yet, after getting together with her, they still betray her. "As society progresses, the plots of these novels become more and more realistic. All that deep affection and unwavering devotion are idealized in romance novels. In real life, there's no such thing as true love. There's also no such thing as a perfectly devoted second love interest."

My High School Romance

My High School Romance

“You never really learn, don’t you? How many crazy plots have you made for Ibarra long ago that backfired?” “Shh! I am a different person now.” She said mixed with laughter. “And I already made a lot of plots that actually worked in my story.” “You crazy, dumb girl!” I hit her head with my knuckles. “Stories in books and real life is different! No matter what happens, if the author wants her hero and heroine to end up together, then it’ll work! You should already be aware of that! Tsk! knowing that every love story comes with a happy ending in your books.” I hissed as I looked at her pissed.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

He sat down next to her and allowed her to lean against his chest, gently stroking her long hair. "Fine, if you won't show me, just tell me." "It's just a romance novel," Maisie said with a light laugh. "The female lead loves the male lead deeply, but he has no feelings for her and sees their relationship as a transaction." Daniel's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly interrupted her. "Novels nowadays are full of nonsense. Don't read it." "What's the matter?" Maisie widened her eyes. "Didn't you ask me to tell you about it?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

The Writer and Her Alpha

The Writer and Her Alpha

"Whatever happened to love each other first then... then doing the deed after. Is everyone after physical contact only these days? What about getting to know each other first? Chivalry? Romantic date?" I sighed and stopped spinning, facing my laptop and visiting a bookstore's site to see what books sell. Ah, of course, my book wouldn't be in the top 10, and I didn't hope so; what's staring back at me is the top 10 best-selling books for the week, where five of ten are Erotic Romance books. "And I thought my company wouldn't be like other companies who are after profit; I was wrong. Then again, business is business."
