Chapter 4 Poaching It wasn't long before Dennis's face turned red, and he started tearing at his clothes. "Mm, girl... I feel so hot..." he muttered. Seeing him like this, I knew immediately what Halle had drugged. That conniving old woman! I quickly filled a basin with water and pushed Dennis's head into it. Dennis cried and screamed as I held him under the water. Perhaps the noise was too loud, as Halle, who was pretending to be out but actually lurking nearby, rushed in.

Dennis was simply caught off guard and fell for Ronan’s trick. However, Dennis expressed his defeat, which annoyed Hogster. “Sir, please leave with us. We’ll talk about it when we return,” Dennis said to Hogster. It would only add to their embarrassment if they remained. Hogster might not care about his dignity, but Dennis did. Although Hogster could not figure out Dennis’ intention, he was scared by Dennis' reaction. He had never seen such a terrifying expression on Dennis before. Since Dennis said so, Hogster dared not disobey.

Dennis Quad was not an ordinary man—he was Hugh’s youngest son. If Six Doors managed to retrieve a Red Spider from his body, this matter would turn into a big deal. Dennis wore a fierce expression and replied, “Dad, I didn’t hide a Red Spider. This guy put it in my pocket. He’s framing me.” Hugh was furious. “Master Tyr, what is the meaning of this?”
