I answered in a purr. To the side, Lloyd stood motionless. His arms were crossed, and he was leaning on the wall casually. However, nothing about his gaze was casual. His gaze was serious, like he knew that things could get out of hand at some point. It seemed like he had a lot to say about the ongoing council, but couldn’t get himself to say it. I bowed my head, my gaze glued to the ground. The gruff voice of the brown haired came again. “Elora Stark,” he started. “We do not have many people who have walked the earth with the name Stark. Only a few. And one of them happened to be Henry Stark.”

I add Denali, Yukon, Mako, Aspen, Aurora, Luna, Indigo, Sasha, Kyra, Kira, and a few others. I type “wolf names” into the search engine and the second site excites me. The names are dire wolves, the mythological-like dogs, adopted by the Stark children on HBO’s Game of Thrones. I’m a huge GOT fan. The names include: Ghost, Lady, Summer, Nymeria, Shaggy Dog, and Grey Wind. I quickly move my curser to number two on my list and insert Nymeria, Ghost, and Lady. This moves all other names farther down the list of possibilities. I circle Nymeria, as Arya Stark is a favorite character of mine.

His mouth and nose were bleeding profusely. “You dare hit me?! You dare hit me in front of Master Lee?! Master Lee will not let you go easily!” Brock covered his face, at the edge of insanity. Thud! But before he could finish speaking, Harvey immediately sent him rolling on the ground with a kick. Brock looked utterly wretched. His face was drenched in his own blood. He looked at Steve, full of despair. “Master Lee, why aren’t you saying anything? Why are you kneeling? When did us Star Chaebol become so useless?”

His presence filled the space before he even spoke. “Mrs. Blackthorn,” he said smoothly, his tone refined, charming even. “I hope I’m not intruding. And given your scent, I can tell that you are not from here, Alpha.” He smiled, slow and confident, the kind of smile that didn’t quite reach the eyes. “Forgive me. Alpha Lorenzo D’Amaris. But I choose to go by Mr. D’Amaris when it is amongst humans.”

He paused, looking down at me softly with hopeful grey eyes. "Get away from me!" I pushed him backwards, causing his men to bring out their guns. They were all pointing it at me. "Put it down, boys." He turned around. "I guess it's more than enough for me to see you despite it being that you came here just for your friend." He bent down and lifted the cloth that covered a man. "Pablo!" My heart hammered against my ribcage when I caught sight of him lying motionless in a pool of his own blood.

The look on his friends face transformed from one of utmost doubt to an amused one. He leaned back in his chair and draped an arm over the back of the chair. “If you’re saying that the girl in my guest room is a mortal, then yes, I agree. A pretty one, in fact.” Bran barely held himself from giving him that punch. “But if you’re saying that Maria Hatzi, evil sorceress and daughter of Ariti, is a mortal, then I’d have to disagree with you.”
