Rocco's voice was low and dangerous, heavy with its usual menace.
Ethan was taken aback, but he was no pushover.
"Sir, I think you're mistaken," he said, straightening his back and meeting Rocco's gaze without fear.
Rocco sneered and snapped his fingers.
Two burly bodyguards slowly closed in on Ethan.
"I'll say it again. Get away from her."
Ethan still didn't back down. "I don't believe I've done anything wrong."
