Matthew dug a deep hole in the ground to build a well for water he also started building a bath in the house. Matthew went home and he didn't come back to the house for another three days because he didn't want his mother to get suspicious. After opening the heavy metal door, I could smell moisture and dust. The rooftop was spacious but messy. There were various scrapped furniture and junk. In the corner was an abandoned water pump room. I held my breath and slowly approached it. The door was unlocked and left ajar. I peeked in through the cracks. It was dark inside, but I could barely make out a black backpack. It must be Hannah's! I waited for five whole minutes. After making sure that no one was around, I slipped into the room. I quickly opened the backpack and found Leah's earphones charging case in the innermost compartment. I grabbed it and prepared to leave.
