When Serakha took the knot back into her possession it felt weightier than before as if it now held both illumination and burden.

Lucien’s voice came out strained from the cliffs. “I’m sorry—the WHAT?” Cassian looked genuinely horrified now. “It’s not supposed to exist anymore.” The Hollow God rose higher through the mountains, darkness dripping from its massive form while ancient chains snapped uselessly beneath it. Each movement shook the kingdom violently. Lyra’s chest tightened painfully. Because through the bond— She felt Kael preparing for the worst. The Void Wolf smiled darkly.
