Holly Hill Black Widow Dahlia Novels & Stories

For someone who prided herself on being politically savvy, she seemed remarkably slow when it came to reading the writing on the wall. But then she stepped to the side, revealing someone who had apparently been trailing behind her – a woman I didn't recognize. The newcomer was older, probably in her sixties, with silver-streaked hair pulled back into a practical bun and kind eyes that held the wisdom of decades. "Alphas," the woman said, offering a respectful bow of her head. "I'm Helen, the oldest royal healer, and Alpha Caelum sent me to examine Trinity to make sure she's alright."

I called out, finally having some of my strength back. “Those flowers…” she turned to face me, her jaw clenched. “Black dahlia and poppy…they are the harbinger of evil; a symbol of death. And they were cursed. How did you get your hands on them?” “I-I…” I pressed my hands to my throat, feeling like I hadn't had water in ages. Sarah got up from her side and handed me a glass of water, which I took gratefully and drank it all in one go like I had been parched for centuries.

I say, my voice getting louder so every ear can hear the text, "Sydney Hale must have come into close contact with one of your personal things on the table. Maybe it was a bunch of fresh wild flowers from the Whispering Moon Woods. Since a beautiful Bloodclaw Pack Heiress like Ms. Rhodes receives fresh wild flowers from young suitors every single day, putting the dark venom right on the flower pollen would be a highly effective hunting method for a rogue." Before Liam or Cora Hale can open their jaws to fight my words, Lydia lets out a big gasp of pure awe, her eyes shining like bright stars under the moon. "Dr. Hale, your inner wolf is absolutely incredible! My mind remembers the track now.

She dialed a number she knew off head and called. "It takes great talent and skill to veil great talent and skill. Little Lotus, how is the brighter side of the world?" A crooked old female voice answered the phone. "Only psychopaths and manipulators can achieve hiding their talents and skills Elder Hoshi. Everything is going as planned thank you for asking. Oh, but a Hian Ji attacked me at my home and knows everything about me. I thought I died and my existence was erased with you and the other Elders' help. What's going on?"

I take in my surroundings at once to see that I’m in a garden-like cottage with trees and flowers scattered around. A healer must have lived here, I reason, plucking the flower the leaf came from and recognizing it at once. It’s Ghost Dahlia, a rare flower with healing powers. It’s said to be extinct, so what is it doing here? I pluck the dead-like flower, which blossoms into a beautiful yellow flower in my hands. Legend says it only blossoms for the pure-hearted, which warms my heart. “The moon goddess has come to our aid, and you must save me with the flower,” Bailey says, and I feel a pang in my chest. “I do not know how much time I have left, and the potion you took is just temporary,” s

Holly's midnight-blue, floor-length gown was adorned by countless small diamonds that looked like stars in the sky. As she walked, the lights that shone on her and the stars on her gown made her look especially ethereal. Sherry caught sight of Holly as well. She came over quickly and looped her arm through Holly's before introducing her to everyone else, "This is my daughter-in-law, Holly Sinclair." Everyone was shocked. "When did Bryce get married? Why didn't you inform us?"

Daisy Hunter is packing her bags to retire home. Stepping out the door was Wade Roberto,"Daisy Hunter, remember it's twenty billion dollars." He muttered and blew kisses in the air and left the office. Daisy Hunter stared askance at him as her thoughts raced. 'Why did Wade Roberto choose me out of all the ladies at the office?' 'Why would he be offering such a huge amount of money for a two year marriage contract?' This and many more thoughts raced through the mind of Daisy Hunter as if she had stepped into a convoluted maze with no clear path forward.

*Flashback : 1000 years Earlier* A very dangerous and dark witch named Dahlia terrorized four human villages every full moon. And today was another full moon as she emerged from the shadows like death itself. In the distance, the villages stood, and she watched them while licking her cracked lips. It was time, this was her night!

I’d taken my spot beside Aurelia and Tristan, my head turning before anyone else felt her before I saw her. Holly moved toward me, bathed in the golden light of the sun filtering through the trees, her cream-colored gown flowing around her. The delicate lace on the sleeves and hem caught the breeze, soft yet strong—just like her. Her usually wild hair was pinned back in a loose bun, and with each step, her white cowboy boots peeked out beneath the fabric. She held a wildflower bouquet of black-eyed Susans, goldenrods, asters, daisies, and Queen Anne’s lace. Her dark eyes locked onto mine, steady and sure. Tristan nudged me. “Told you you’d cry.”

The old lighthouse had been dark for years. Perched on the jagged edge of Widow’s Point, the Black Hollow Lighthouse had been abandoned since the night Keeper Alden Rowe vanished without a trace. No one had taken the position after that. Some said he’d fallen. Others whispered the sea had claimed him for a debt long unpaid. Mara didn’t believe in sea-debts. But she knew what she saw. Three flashes. Evenly spaced. Deliberate. The pattern repeated. Her little brother, Toby, burst into her room. “Did you see it?”
