So pure that even snow seemed dull in comparison. By the first day, Snowy opened his eyes. On day two, he started walking. And on day three, he could open doors, shred the milk box with his razor-sharp teeth, and drink all the fresh milk in the building. Leo and Luna were satisfied with raw food. Not Snowy. He only ate live prey. He drove the neighborhood's escaped hamsters to extinction, snapped up fish straight from hooks, and even hunted a neighbor's pet rabbit. My role as "cat mama" escalated—I was now the posthumous disaster manager: cleaning up after carnage, apologizing to neighbors, begging forgiveness, and still having to earn money.

Melissa, you know I didn’t finish the story?” Melissa’s POV I have long forgotten the ending of the story, so I didn’t know whether he finished it or not. “The lion took care of the antelopes calves, just to later sacrifice them to other lions. That’s true revenge!” he said clasping my shoulder. A cold shiver and sweat ran down my back. “Do you know who Kate is?” he asked me. I really think that he has lost it. Kate is my son Albert’s girlfriend. “What do you mean?” I asked him.

I was sipping the drink while staring outside through the window when a knock echoed from the door. “Come in,” I ordered. The door creaked as it was opened and madam Q stepped inside. “She is here.” “Let her in.” “Alright,” Madam Q nodded before leaving the room. The door opened again and I heard silent footsteps as Honey walked into my bedroom. I didn’t turn to look at her. I took a sip of my drink and asked. “Have you made up your mind?” There was a long silence before she spoke. “How long will I be your pet?”

It's a good thing that Kate always knows how to make me happy. As I sat on the couch Kate positioned herself in between my legs then went on her knees , she reached out for the tray and got the honey then proceeded to pour some over my nipples trailing it down to my crotch , she set the honey back in the tray and picked a handful of the chopped strawberries which she sprinkled all over the honey on my body

I kick the tall grass out of my way and climb on top of the rock so that I can see what is on its other side. And there, behind the rock, is a cat as white as snow and as cute as a button. The moment it feels my presence on the rock, the cat looks up at me and my heart immediately melts so that I let go of my defensive stance and place my water bottle back in its compartment. I am not going to hit this cat under any circumstance.

I pretended not to notice and asked, "Can I borrow your phone?" He nodded and handed it to me. I quickly tried calling Daniel again. As soon as he picked up, I hurriedly said, "Daniel, your whole family got stung by wasps. It's really serious! Transfer the money for the surgery to me now!" I thought he would ask how much, but after two seconds of silence, he cursed at me, "Linda, if you want money, you don't have to curse my family!" I was stunned, then quickly explained, "I'm not lying. They really were stung and are now in the ICU. We have to raise money immediately for the surgery."

I cry unable to fight back the tears any longer. “Lilly-Ann, what’s wrong? Where are you?” “Lenkov.. He… and Honey…” “Are you at your place?” “Yes.” “Stay there I’m on my way.” He ends the call. My heart sinks to the floor as my body crashes to the ground as my legs are unable to carry my weight any longer. Honey was the last present my mom got me before she got sick. Honey’s been with me through a lot of break ups and very dark times in my life, she’s not just my cat or pet. She’s my family, my best friend. Losing her will be like losing a sister, I just can’t.
