Four Alphas One Revenge

Four Alphas One Revenge

Hopelessness didn’t. The threads around us slowed dramatically, their pulses becoming heavy and exhausted. Like millions of minds suddenly too tired to continue believing in anything. Nathan’s voice cracked slightly. “They’re giving up.” Panic slammed through me instantly. “No.” Because hopelessness spreads faster than hatred ever could. Hatred burns. Hopelessness empties. And emptiness consumed everything. The network pulsed weakly again. Another message appeared. Shaking. Broken. If pain is inevitable… what is the purpose of existence?

Hockey Star by Day, Oil Mogul by night

Hockey Star by Day, Oil Mogul by night

I hoped I would one day be healed of this sickness, but here I am, still fucking struggling to breathe everytime it rains. I hoped mother and Sylvia would love me one day, but all they’ve ever done is hurt me. I hoped papa would never die and leave me all alone in this world, but my last memory of him is his body hanging from our ceiling fan. I hoped Drake would love me, but he looked me in the eye and chose my twin sister over me. So I won’t hope anymore. I won’t hope that the intense look in Harlan’s eyes means he feels something for me.

My Stepfather Is My Mate

My Stepfather Is My Mate

The air was heavy with the scent of despair, mingling with the acrid stench of liquor and broken dreams. Behind the bar counter, I stood like a specter, a harbinger of sorrow serving liquid poison to lost souls. The dim glow of crimson-hued lights accentuated the hollows beneath my eyes, reflecting the abyss that consumed me. The clinking of glasses echoed like a morbid chorus, each sound a discordant note in the symphony of despair.

Wow so many updates should I be happy or surprised? I think both. I love the way this story going on... The hunters, Elves, and wolves. It's so much of my type with way too much of fantasy characters. And I love that author is thinking about side characters as well. The 18+ part is just so ............

This book started off good but took off in another direction, like it was a completely different book. Some of the chapters don’t even match up with what’s going on or with the characters in the book. I’ve read this far just to see how it ends but the story keeps changing.I’m done wasting $

TRAPPED BY THE BILLIONAIRE CEO

TRAPPED BY THE BILLIONAIRE CEO

Do you know of a place so cold, This is the place I call my soul, A place without hope or comforting dreams, A life not worth living wouldn't it seem. Do you know of a life that should have never been, And the feeling that today this life has to end. One more day of sadness is much too hard to bear, Do you know a person with so much pain inside, Or the feeling of loneliness when no one hears your cries, Maybe when the tears are gone and I can clearly see, The only question left will be...

Unexpected Love: The Alpha Who Married Me

Unexpected Love: The Alpha Who Married Me

“I’m just so... so... If this doesn’t work, I don’t know what I’m going to do.” “We will find another way. And if that fails, we’ll find yet another way. And on and on and on. We will keep looking for another way. As long as we have hope in our hearts.” What was it with the men in my life and hope these days? I opened the window because the car was starting to feel stuffy. The air that blew inside me calmed me down a bit, but the more that the distance between us and Harold Park got smaller and smaller, I felt that weight begin to press down in my chest again. The weight of fear and slight desperation. I didn’t notice that I was breathing harder and harder.

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

Dragon's Breath (Book One)

Nothing could have prepared me for this sight. "I believe the commander has been killed,” I croak out. Daniel does not say anything, as I sink to the ground burying my hands in my face. There was hope before. A tiny flicker against the wind. And with the eagerness of a child, I reached for it, without a thought that the future could be an unworkable road. I feel that if I continue to try, it will be a journey into a land devoid of hope. It is one thing to look back and realize I was in darkness, but it is quite another to look ahead and realize that my days of joy are numbered. This despair that suddenly washes over me is a heady blackness; the ways forward I had thought possible have vanish

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

Science fiction: The believable impossibilities

The heart screams The rejection of peace To me From me Each new day But then till I live Will I be dust Each new way No success new Reaches me Despite Huge attempts My sweat does make My heart does make I am paralysed Or am I dead I don't even know A moment When I enjoyed life Without a breakage As threat If this is life What is death What is end What is dullness When this is light Of my life I am frail now I know I am weak I know the cause Of my every disease Is mental unease But I still won't complain I still won't complain Till fire extinguish My dreams To dirt, it will be All expectations from me With encouragement Only as a dream How long will I live How long will I blame One day At res

Satan: Her Worst Nightmare

Satan: Her Worst Nightmare

And some in dreams assurèd were Of the Spirit that plagued us so; Nine fathom deep he had followed us From the land of mist and snow. And every tongue, through utter drought, Was withered at the root; We could not speak, no more than if We had been choked with soot. Ah! well a-day! what evil looks Had I from old and young! Instead of the cross, the Albatross About my neck was hung. - by ST Coleridge. *********** Hey Readers, Remember one thing in life- never lose hope. Life is short but the problems in it are heavy. But that does not mean there is no happiness. Try to find happiness in small things. Sometimes luxuries paled in front of simple actions.

When the bully falls in love

When the bully falls in love

The world is in constant motion and those who passed by at one point are going to come back their someday, to complete the journey full circle. That’s what Cage believed in, he believed he was going to see his sister someday. It was called hope, faith. Or like Emily Dickson described it. Hope is the thing without feathers that perches in the soul and sings the tune without the words and never stops at all. The kind of hope he had was dangerous. It was the kind that destroyed you and ate you alive inside. I knew how it felt like, it was a hopeless, desperate way to go, one that would always end in misery.

The Alleged Mistress’s Comeback

The Alleged Mistress’s Comeback

Let him off the hook? I snorted derisively, carefully running my fingers over the urn in my lap. My voice dripped with contempt and barely concealed rage. "Do you know what the most despairing thing is? "It's seeing hope only for it to be shattered. "I'll crush his hope right before his eyes, watching him die in agony."
