Mated in the Hatred of Alpha King

Mated in the Hatred of Alpha King

Better to leave than to let shame erode what little pride I had left. But quitting did not solve the problem. The bills still loomed like jagged cliffs ready to crush me. Carl’s medicine, every dose a lifeline, was dwindling at a rate that made my stomach knot. Sofia’s bright little eyes, trusting and innocent, still looked up at me each morning as if I were invincible, as if Mama could shield them from every wrong in the world. And I was sinking. Fast. For the first time in years, I felt the hopelessness pressing down on me, solid and unrelenting, until my chest ached and my lungs felt unable to draw in air.

Mercy and Hope

Mercy and Hope

She cried out as she can to let my ears be struck by her echoes. "Ms. Dandelion, it is my responsibility to save your friend from getting persecuted by uncertainty and misery!" I said and let go of my hand off her kindness. How sweet of her though and I do pity myself for refusing offers like that continuously. Grace doesn't have to do that, I came to implore for help and not take gratitude. The moon gave me a route to run away from the promise that might not be retained forever. Within the moonbow, I felt there was no hope of healing the shattered essence of an individual.

Longing for the Unreachable

Longing for the Unreachable

"Come on. That old hag smells like mothballs. She doesn't hold a candle to you!" Tears blurred my vision and dripped onto my hand. I wiped them away, steadied myself, and took out my phone to take photos of the messages.

Marked by a Lycan

Marked by a Lycan

I couldn't help but wonder how easily hope could transform into despair, how effortlessly dreams could disintegrate before my very eyes. As I walked, my gaze fixed upon the path ahead, I couldn't help but question the cruel twists of fate that had brought me to this point. How had the universe conspired to lure me into this masquerade of connection, only to reveal its true face as a cruel jest? The streets that had once held promise and possibility now seemed gray and lifeless, mirroring the depths of my own disillusionment.

Despair

Despair

I don’t want to lose him. I went inside my house, it felt so cold like a dead cold. It didn’t feel like a house, it felt like a cabin with no warmth, and with the warmth, I don’t mean heat, I mean heat. Today is proving to be the worst day of my life. I sat over the floor and my eyes were oozing out of tears. I can't believe what's happening with my life. The person that I love is leaving me, I have no idea about my family my papa. Nobody loves me. I feel like giving up my life. It's been a tragic day. I was crying and crying and crying, then a message popped up on my phone. It was papa

Bound By Fate: Contracted To The Enemy Alpha

Bound By Fate: Contracted To The Enemy Alpha

I wasn't sure how many more blows I could take. But one thing was clear. I wasn't getting out of here anytime soon. And I had to stop hoping. Because hope was the cruelest chain of them all.

Poor Husband's Betrayal

Poor Husband's Betrayal

Raisa wrote a poem entitled in the quiet, she then reread her work. In a lonely corner of the silent night, I hug your shadow in this loneliness. The longing that slices the heart, Flowed with tears that did not stop. In every beat of my heart, There is your name that echoes sadly. The hope that used to strengthen, Now only a painful memory. I walk in empty hallways, Without direction, without light. All the promises you once made, Are now just shadows that disappear slowly. Time passes slowly and cruelly, Leaving deep wounds.

Rejected By My Mate. Claimed By His Disabled Brother.

Rejected By My Mate. Claimed By His Disabled Brother.

But no answer comes and that's when I know that hope is a cruel thing. At first, I hold onto it like it’s all I have. She’s strong. She’s smart. She’s alive. She has to be. But as the sky starts to lighten with the morning sunrise and no sign, or scent or body comes up, my hope starts to die slowly. It's just me, broken and soaked, standing on the muddy bank with shaking hands and a heart slowly being carved open from the inside. I fall to my knees, staring at the water. My voice is gone.

CRUEL HUSBAND

CRUEL HUSBAND

I shouted from the depths of my being, at the same time my body shook with convulsions, the product of crying, I fell to the ground and felt my soul break into millions of pieces, and there I knew, I would never be the same, I was destined to be an empty body, moving by inertia, because I had already lost everything. The absence of the one we love is worse than death, and frustrates hope more than hopelessness. William Cowper.

Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chasing My Pregnant Wife

He hoped so hard that Rose would become pregnant, but his hopes had been in vain. Nothing would be left of him, Theodore Spencer, in this world after his death. His heart was filled with hopelessness, like a lone boat adrift in the vast ocean plagued with storms. He withstood all the agony that life had to offer as he drifted in a sea of hopelessness. Every breath he took was a reminder that his life was ebbing away. For countless nights, he felt suffocated opening his eyes staring at the ceiling, feeling as though he won't open his eyes again the next day.

Story started strong. Should’ve ended by 600 or so chapters. Plot and characters become increasingly ridiculous. I dislike Rosalie’s second husband - and how she carries his BONE FRAGMENTS forever. Also, major abuse from a character who turns out to be her relative. Should be rated 18+ for that
