Red Rover

Red Rover

“Can’t. Swore on the River Styx when I was created. Gods aren’t allowed to physically help heroes on quests. And believe me, the Styx is not one to cross.” “So you’re out,” Pop says flatly. “But don’t gods give gifts to heroes sometimes?” Hakeem asks. “Aye,” Hermes says, flashing a smile that’s frankly illegal. Holy hell. That smile could end wars. Focus, Alex. Get it together. “I’ve got a few things for you,” Hermes continues. “First, the Oreiades are preparing a path using water from the River Lethe—the same one Achilleus was dipped into. Makes you temporarily invulnerable. It’ll last forever on the demi-gods in your group. For the rest, it’s temporary—but long enough.”

The Unwanted Breeder For The Rogue King

The Unwanted Breeder For The Rogue King

Draco winced at the thought of his father, King Cormac, who in history was now recognized as the Butcher but was once adored by Draco. He remembered the time he spent with his father growing up, as he taught Draco kingly etiquette, sparring, and alpha command. He made him memorize the names of the seven gods of Bloomington and their deeds as he led him through the temple. Draco particularly loved the story of Gharok, the god of creation, who was married to a beautiful damsel named Selene, one of his creations. The legend said that Gharok loved Selene so much that he made her the goddess of the moon.

The Alpha's Pen Pal

The Alpha's Pen Pal

Wes asked. “Visiting the oracles,” he answered. “The oracles? Like… Ancient Greece, Oedipus Rex, oracle at Delphi oracles??” I asked, my voice raising. “Yes,” Harrison answered. My jaw hit the floor. Wesley laughed and placed his finger under my chin to close my mouth. “I told you, all the stories are based on truth,” he chuckled. “And Doctor Russo is right. The werewolf oracles in Greece can talk to Selene sometimes. If Selene wishes to speak to them. They may be able to find the answers we need.”

I thoroughly enjoyed this book as well as the second book but I’m also thoroughly disappointed that the author has chosen not to continue putting her books in this venue. Unfortunately, I’m unable to afford purchasing from a book store or online seller the next 2 books she’s written.

Allie is a wonderful and talented writer and author, I have so much to say but, very limited space, I love the beautiful and true life wisdom and positive tone, flow and everything this story had to offer. The only thing I can complain about is that I wish there were more chapters to read.

Persephone: Leonidas' Domina

Persephone: Leonidas' Domina

He had no idea, but he found himself saying, "I can fight." She nodded, finally looking away from him. "Good." They all began talking as soon as she turned away from him, Leonidas learning their names in quick succession. Hercules, he was a Zeus Familia and from the way he spoke, a High Family. The girl on him, Aellai, Artemis, he was not sure what she was or not. Then on another log entirely, two other people, Odysseus, a Poseidon Familia and Dido, an Athena Familia.
