Born By Power : Chaos And Apocalypse

(Only the Greek characters to arrive in future books will will be mentioned) A possible Location to be seen. Mount Olympus (/oʊˈlɪmpəs, əˈlɪm-/;Greek: Όλυμπος Olympos, for Modern Greek also transliterated Olimbos, [ˈolimbos] or [ˈolibos]) is the highest mountain in Greece. Mount Olympus is the legendary home of the gods in Greek mythology. According to research, the mountain was created after the Titanomachy, the epic fighting between the young gods, the Olympians and the older gods, the Titans. As a result of this battle, the Olympian victors created their new majestic domestic – Mount Olympus. It used to be shrouded from human eyes by using clouds which constantly obscured its peaks. The g

Descent

Descent

A VERY LONG AUTHOR’S NOTE: The plot wasn't supposed to revolve around romance... nor even had a werewolf in it. The initial plot was a literal horror story about a girl being stalked by some supernatural creature ahem sLeNdEr MaN ahem until he eats her–but I felt it was too predictable, too boring–so let's add Greek mythology and a bunch of other monsters to the blender because I am too done with life for a complicated plot right now and just wanted someone to suffer.

she asked quietly, wondering if she misheard. “I want to be your Typhon, honey. Like Typhon, described as one of the most powerful and fearsome deities. I want to be the same. And just like in his story, I’m willing to be imprisoned, not under Mount Etna, but beside you, with you, forever.” Dark’s eyes grew deep and shadowed as he pressed his forehead against hers. Cassandra closed her eyes as Dark gently cupped her face between his palms. “When did you start getting interested in Greek mythology?” Cassandra teased lightly, a soft laugh escaping her. She opened her eyes again, meeting his gaze... his blue eyes were overflowing with love.

Wolf Kisses

Wolf Kisses

Before opening it, as if knowing already that this was going to take some time, she’d backed up until she sank into one of those high-backed chairs. The book was clearly old, so she’d had to turn the pages slowly to keep from ripping them. A couple of those pages were written completely in Greek, which she found only a bit odd, and she wondered what else could surprise her in this place. Her mother had tried to teach her to read in Greek. But Penn hadn’t thought it was necessary, so the lessons hadn’t gotten very far. Names that appeared early on in the book were familiar as she remembered her mother telling her the story of the lycan origination when she was just a little girl. But as she c

Marry Me, Madison

Marry Me, Madison

“My daughter, my demi-god.” I’m a demi-god? … pft Ahahaha kidding. I have always been interested in Greek Mythology but I don’t know much about them except of course the famous 12 olympians and my favorite was Athena of course, who wouldn’t? I have watched Percy Jackson, Troy, and Hercules. They really are awesome. Ack. It’s quite heavy, jeez. I picked it up and went to a table near the shelf. I started to read from the start and find it quite interesting. There are stories about the major gods and goddesses, and some stories about mortals. Most of them were love stories though.

The Baron's Cold Proposal

The Baron's Cold Proposal

It felt a perfect fit and he had slept every night holding her in that position, nestled together. Felix also taught Athena further on Roman and Greek mythology, including pointing out the different types of nymphs that were sneakily hidden in and amongst the mosaics depicting friendly woodland scenes. These were beings who lived to tease and manipulate humans and gods, sometimes falling in love with them, sometimes chasing them to the ends of the earth to capture the man they wanted.

A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!

The League of Rogues

The League of Rogues

That simple action seared him with a heated pleasure. "Don't apologize for everything." Her lashes fluttered as she looked at him, a secretive smile on her lips. "I've not wronged you by all my actions then?" He laughed. "Not all your actions." She studied the book she held, then opened the pages and sighed. "My mistake: I forgot you could not read Greek." Godric reached for the novel she held. While the title was typeset in English, the text itself was entirely in Greek. "This is one of my favorite stories. My father never cared for novels, but he loved the classics and would read this one to me often." She held it out to him. "Would you read it to me?"

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

"Be careful, Ria." Cryx and I, and the others have our own codes basing on Greek and Roman Mythology. Right now, I based it on the glory of Greece, the Illiad by Homer. The Battle between the Acaeans (Greeks) and the Trojans. During their conquer of Chryse, a town allied with Troy, the Greeks captured Chryseis and Briseis. Agamemnon took Chryseis as his crowning glory while Achilles took Briseis. When Chryseis' father learned of this, he offered a magnanimous sacrifice to the god Apollo for his daughter's safe return. Agamemnon then conspired to take Briseis away from Achilles and offer her as remuneration. This will allow Cryx to decipher that there is danger nearby and they plan to take Br

Forbidden Romance Tales

Curled on her side, back pressed against his chest, she felt the warmth of his skin enveloping her like a possessive blanket. His arm draped over her waist, holding her close, but even in her drowsy haze, she could sense his unrelenting hunger. Jason's cock nudged against the curve of her ass, still rock-hard despite the load he'd already dumped. Lena sighed contentedly, her breathing slowing as dreams began to pull her under. Her body trembled as his strong arms tightened around her, his hands roaming over her curves with possessive desire, fingers digging into her hip with a firmness that snapped her eyes open.

In The Arms of Morpheus

In The Arms of Morpheus

as he wasn’t Greek. After writing Nik a lengthy letter about what had been happening, including the brewing romance between Robert and Kayla, the relationship which seemed that it would never be official, I crawled into bed with a Greek book in the hope of sharpening up my shocking Greek skills. I must have been bored to sleep by the book – one moment I was trying to decipher the Greek text and the next I was sitting propped against a stone wall in the Dreamscape. “Good evening, my sweet.” The voice sent a chill down my spine, although I couldn’t see who it belonged to.
