The air around her crackled with raw power as she turned back towards the attackers, her fear morphing into a blinding rage.

As the light fell, the transformation began, crushing my bones, but I was overjoyed to welcome my wolf despite the pain. Everyone looked on with a mix of curiosity and wonder, but their expressions quickly changed when my father brought out a large mirror, allowing me to see my wolf. As soon as my eyes fell on the mirror, I understood their astonishment. My eyes were not golden like everyone else’s; one was golden and the other silver. I wasn’t surprised to be a hybrid, but I was thrilled to see my wolf’s white fur and the Golden Sun Pack’s symbol on my right thigh. This made me very happy because it confirmed my belonging to the pack, even though my mother’s origins were that of a vampire.

I have never taken it off because it makes me feel close to her spirit.

For someone like Amaria -who isn't a mage like Teresa and Dove nor a mana using swordsman like Elex - she wouldn't stand a chance with a Horc, boost or no boost. The Horc opened its bloodshot eyes and gazed directly at Amaria making eye contact with her. Amaria gulped as she felt the intense bloodlust aura coming from the Horc.
