¶We create our fate every Day...most of ills we Suffer from are directly Traceable to our own Behaviour.¶ - Henry Miller * * * ** ¶Neil PoV¶ To say, shocked was an understatement for me, seeing Ronin back into Aiyla's life was a big surprise for me which I did not expect to happen at least not in this life. But I guess my thoughts were wrong and here he is standing in front of me holding Aiyla in front of me.

Outside the window Moonveil was quiet and still under a full moon that turned everything silver. And inside their room the mate bond rested warm and satisfied between them, neither pulling nor pushing, simply present the way it had always been present, from the moment Thorian had walked into a forest following something his wolf refused to ignore and found a woman at his border who was going to change everything. Not by being saved. By choosing to stay. And build. And become. Tomorrow the mountains were waiting and the alliance was waiting and the larger world with all its complexity was waiting. But tonight there was only this. And it was, in every way that mattered, exactly enough.

Chapter 30 Dark Horizons Fiona’s POV The world faded back into focus, and the first thing I noticed was the cold. I blinked, trying to shake off the dizziness that clung to my senses, but the chill bit through my skin like icy tendrils. My surroundings were unfamiliar, a stark contrast to the thick, vibrant forest we’d just been in. Instead, I stood in a dimly lit, cavernous space. Stone walls loomed high, casting shadows that seemed to move on their own.

The bridge trembled, cracks forming beneath their feet. “Move!” Elysia shouted, grabbing Alex’s arm and pulling them forward. The group sprinted toward the anchor as the bridge began to collapse behind them, Morgana’s laughter growing louder with each step. End of Chapter 32 This chapter brings the group to the edge of the Rift, where the stakes are higher than ever. With the final anchor in sight and Morgana’s influence growing stronger, the stage is set for an epic confrontation.

Chapter Thirty Chaos The sound of stacking wood echoed around the courtyard. Nora wincing each time the wood was dropped, her eyes locked on Jace who was still slumped over on the ground. She shut her eyes and tried to fixate on him and see if she could hear his heart. Her heart pounding in her chest was the only sound she could hear as she fought back tears. It couldn’t end like this. She looked out over the courtyard, her heart sinking even more, her pack members struggling to not fight. Every time one of them moved so much as moved an inch, the guards fired the wolfbane poisoned water onto them. The moon starts to peek out against the sunset. She squeezed her eyes shut and begged the mo

“If that’s the case, I am happy for you. I really like the new you. My worries lessened.” I didn’t know if I should believe him. That was why I just ignored everything he said. I moved away from the stairway and entered the trees. Confusion wrote on Mike’s face as he followed me. He didn’t ask me questions any longer, which I liked. I followed the small path between the trees, careful not to slip. It took us a while before we reached the small clearing. It was just an unoccupied space beside a cliff where I could see the city. I looked at the world below while Mike remained standing near me. He was also looking at where I was looking. Everything seemed dead because of the heavy rain.

Unfortunately, our mother saw through our plan and with one spell she closed and strengthened all the doors and windows in the house, cutting off any escape route. Fortunately, I finally managed to break through this protection and we got outside, into the garden, and then into the forest, but my mother caught up with us and trapped all three under an energy dome that seemed to be quite weak, so there was a chance to pass it, but only Oliver would probably survive going through. ~~~~~~~~~
