Elara stopped moving, her breath stuck in her throat as she looked up at the bookshelf. Through the spaces between the old leather books, a pale human hand was slowly coming out from the dark wall. The skin was covered in writing. And the hand was tightly holding a big silver editor's knife that was shaking with a low and scary sound. This time the correction was not for her writing. It was coming for her spine.
