she whispered escorting him to his stable. Before reaching his, they stopped by Stormie and Apollo. The three horses greeted each other with soft snorts and nickering also light brushing of their heads. “Your mama is coming soon. We will get you all braided up and looking your best. She misses you, two. I’m afraid she will need y'all now more than ever. She’s hiding something from me and she’s scared. I can hear it in her voice. I hope I can help her," Kelsey confided a lot in the horses. They knew her fears and worries, and her triumphs.

He said. “Good, Good.” His mother nodded and walked away. Micha wondered what that meant but he had long given up trying to understand his mother and her ways. If something was wrong she would know before everyone else. He had nothing to worry about. Micha continued outlining the process for the next day or so and how they would get matched with animals and groups. He also explained the points system and the final cattle drive. They were all thinking this was easy but they would find out tomorrow. “if we do well can we pick which horses we want to ride?” one of the woman asked from the middle of the group. Micha couldn’t see who it was.

After successfully freshening up I headed to the arable to get my horse and I met Luke, searching for a suitable horse to ride today. “Splendid morning to you, Alpha Damon,” he greeted as he gestured a bow. “Have you also come to pick a new horse? Are you going to get your favorite horse?” “If you know he’s my favorite horse, then why are you asking if I’m here for a new one?” I asked as I hopped on my horse's back. “I had thought the new horses might have piqued your interest. If I’m not being rude, Alpha Damon. May I ask why you love this horse so much even though it’s so aggressive?” Luke asked curiously.

Shaking it out to make sure there are no spiders, I fold it in two and lay it down in the aisle next to Sundance’s stall. I was never a horse person before I came here. Mom made sure both Diana and I took lessons for a few years, if only to say that her girls took riding lessons at one of more prestigious barns in Greenwich. Everything was done for show. I didn’t get it then like I do now. Horses are big and heavy, with four feet that end in solid hooves. They could kill you in seconds if they wanted to. Putting your faith and trust into an animal this powerful seems like a death wish, doesn’t it? But they trust you back.

Tara is a liability, but she can be used to instigate Harold to make a move. "The protection around the Hopkins Glassware company?" Jeremy asked. "That's settled... but..." Bobby hesitated. "Is there a problem?" Jeremy asked. "Harold went to meet Emma yesterday and she went out to meet her friends at the Equestrian Club." "Equestrian Club?" Jeremy knitted his brows. "What's with her sudden interest in horses?" With a sigh, he rubbed his temples. "Find out who else was there," Jeremy looked up to see Bobby with a knowing smile.

“Alright, everyone nice and fast, we're already late.” I stuck to the Dean's side, and soon, we were inside the prestigious club. “I couldn't miss this opportunity,” Jacqueline informed me, “when the club invited us to come learn from them. The veterinary students would be led to where they would learn about equine healthcare, how to train and care for horses bred for tournaments, while the sports management students would be led to learn about the management of professional racing.” “That's amazing,” I said, meaning it. “Yes.” An older lady approached us. “Welcome Dean,” she smiled, her pearly white teeth matching her jewelry. “I'm so honored you accepted my invite.”

Her figure was full and curvy, and every step made her skirt lift and fall again. My eyes never left her hips. I kept hoping I'd catch a glimpse of her panties. I wondered what kind a girl this cute liked to wear. "Connor, is riding a horse fun? I've seen them a few times before, but they're so tall. I was afraid they'd kick me, so I never dared to try." She suddenly turned back, clearly waiting for my answer. "Of course it's fun. When it runs, the feeling is amazing. I'll teach you in a bit."

Shoot it while I’m feeling daring, I might just answer.” I watch him for a while, pondering on this. “Who is Rome?” He freezes. His hands slide to a stop on the horse’s back, causing the animal to neigh at the lack of comfort. His blue eyes snap to me, and my bones chill at the intensity in them.

“Woah. It makes sense. The red horse looks like it is in better shape. Both the condition of his fur and stride are satisfactory.” Chuckling, Ian uttered, “I remembered that you used to ride on horses when you where young.” “Right. I started riding horses before getting into car racing,” Zion added. “So, I know which horse might likely win.” Fabroa family ran a huge horse ranch, and Grandpa used to take me and Zion in that place. Zion grew up seeing many horses that I did. So, he knows which horse is the weakest. When we went to the window ticket office and saw the horses that were scheduled to race today training, Zion said, “The movements of Number 1 looks somewhat sluggish today.”
