’ Marco pulled her into a corner and asked her quietly, ‘Who do you want to back in the next race?’ He pointed at the screen where the horses were warming up and she smiled, ‘That’s easy’ She pointed at the only white horse in the race, ‘The pretty white one.’ ‘You mean the grey.’ He said and she frowned at him, ‘Its not grey its white’ He laughed with delight, ‘They call them greys in the racing world’ She turned to the Bookie, ‘I’ll put £1000 on the pretty white one’

I stop just a few feet away from the wiggling horse as Ram tries so hard to hold it in place so that the horse won’t run me down. “Please Milady, it’s very dangerous here. Please stay far away.” Ram said as he looks at the angry horse. “It cannot be tamed and it won’t listen to no one. Stay away from him Zam.” Henry said as he walks towards me and grabs my wrist. I look at his hand holding my hand and then look at him with a burning glare. He slowly let my hand go as he looks at me in shock. His face is saying “what’s wrong”. “Tell me, Ram, they told me in the main mansion in Canada that horses are smart. Are they Ram?” I ask as I walk near the horse.

If he was innocent, he'd be demanding to know what attack I was talking about. “Is that how they sold it to you, when they told you to attack?” I look up at Timothy. “The horse that died, how much was it worth?” Timothy answers stone-faced, in an offended tone. he probably doesn't think the horses are commodities. They're friends and individuals to him, not possessions. I expect it hurts him to be asked to speak of them as if they were just things. “Two hundred thousand euros.” Several members of the Pack laugh disbelievingly. “For a horse?”

Caroline’s POV: As we were riding the horse, I remembered the question Liam had asked me: "Why don't you go into the stable?" and I gave the best excuse I could come up with at the time, saying that I didn't like horses very much. While this is true, I actually had more than one reason: I didn't want one of the grooms to recognize me either. Usually, I tried to stay away from anyone who might recognize me, and one of the grooms would definitely do it. But now we were past that stage and we were riding forward fast. Well, it might be a lope for some, but for me, we were at full speed.

Si Jie snap. "Do we've to talk about this right now?"Hope sneer and roll her eyes. "Fuck you"She whisper to Hope aware of her sister presence,Hope glare. "Sis why do you wanna learn how to ride a horse?" "It's fun,it'll be nice to take a day off, visit the ranch..." "And farm if it's uncle Joe ranch"Hope cut in with a squeezed face. "Speaking from experience, you're gonna milk the cows"Si Jie added. "Don't make it sound so difficult guys."

Is he a horse that I could ride? Confusion was clearly visible on my face. "Are you sure you are 26?" He asked with disbelief. "Very much" "What use of you reading such books when you can't understand a thing?" He asked. Books? My eyes flicked to the book lying on the side table. The book was gifted by Emma because she thought that I was too innocent and I needed to read this stuff. But I always skipped them and focused only on the story and the soft romance. And I am not that innocent. I know the basics and how could I understand when he is asking me to ride him? We ride horses, not humans.

And like reading her mind Artemis answered her lingering questions. “Yes, we are riding a horse named ‘Hades’ to the farm. No, you can’t ride a car. Why? The road to my farm is too rocky and bumpy which cars can’t survive in but horses can, plus they’re much cuter.” He said as he caresses the mane of the horse. He mounted the horse like a pro he is, he held out his hand to Kate. “Come on, don’t worry. I won’t let you fall.”

" His question became more suspicious. "What secrets are you talking about? I have no idea what you are saying?" "I mean to ask, if you have had any training on how to handle and take care of horses, have you?" "No, of course, I haven't. Why are these questions? Just because, I touched your horses and told them casually, to obey their master does not make me a good horse-handler. What you are emphasizing, maybe a pure coincidence. It's likely, a coincidence, can't you see that?"

The journey to the castle was a long, slow, and tedious. Most of the way was up hill and the path was rocky. The mid morning sun shown brightly as cottony white clouds floating bye on a sea of rich blue sky. The trees started to show tinges of yellow, orange, and red. The early signs of autumn were approaching. The air had a warm feel but a crisp smell. Cassia stepped on a rock and stumbled. She lightly tweaked her ankle which earned an “Ouch!” With a hiss of pain. Her companions paused to check on her. The large black horse nudged her with his mussel. “I’m alright….. you know we need to give you a name. Something other than horse.” Cassia looked at the great beast. “What is your name?” She

She'd been explaining these opinions to Cas for the past twenty minutes, showing him her newest block stable—a three-story architectural marvel that incorporated not just horses but what appeared to be a complete small-town ecosystem including a bakery, a library, and something she was calling a "community center for horse meetings." "And this part," she said, pointing to a section constructed from purple and blue blocks, "is where the horses discuss important matters. Like what hay is best and whether afternoon walks should be longer." "Horses have parliamentary discussions in your stable?" Cas examined the structure with complete seriousness. "That's democratic governance I hadn't anticipa
