For someone who grew up in a mafia home she sure as hell isn’t taking this well. “You got something you want to say?” I grind out. “What did you do?” she whispers, looking straight ahead and avoiding my eyes. “Not that it’s any of your business,” I spit, “but I had someone to take care of. The whole reason I accepted that damn invitation in the first place.”

I snapped at myself “Did you say something, young lady?” “I-I said I’d pay my Father’s debt. Take me with you” “Do you know who sent me?” He arched a brow “Mafia, Vermont Cardoniss,” I replied sharply. A smirk crawled to his lips. “I’d take this one.”

“Isn't that wonderful?” “So what man, are you hesitant about the 09 fortune because of her?” “Angelo, not now.” I waved my index finger in the air. “Hillary is your key to the 09 fortune, why are you hesitant?” “Probably because he's in love with her.” Rafael suddenly joined in, I looked at him with daggers in my eyes. Angelo laughed loudly. “That would be crazy; in this mafia game, there's nothing like love, you know why? Because it makes you weak, no one wants to be weak over a bitch right?”

“Please look after your children. Please bless them with your favor and love. Give them another chance to live a life the life a werewolf should. Free to run and howl at the moon in your honor. Please hear our prayers and consider our words.” Ghost comes forward with a low mournful howl. Clash joins him with our heads to the sky until neither of us has any breath left in our lungs. My hand feels cold when he lets go of it. I look at it and turn it over. “Thanks, Marco.” I swallow and clear my throat. “No problem.” He claps me on the shoulder. “Thank you for telling me. I think you’re right to not tell Alpha Bronx yet. He won’t take it well. I have to go relieve James. Feel free to sit here a

“We didn’t know what hit us after it did. I don’t know, but after getting exposed to it for a certain amount of time, you would feel sleepy and can’t feel the connection between you and your wolf…” “A new drug…” Mallory said to herself, feeling terrified. The vampire has made another weapon against them! Melita laughed with difficulty after seeing Mallory scared stiff. “What are you afraid of? Mallory, you are the Blessed! Why didn’t you tell us before?” “Blessed?” Mallory asked back. Blessed… Mallory paused to think, What does she mean by that? I’m Blessed? Already? But I have yet to reach the right age! It’s common knowledge that underage can’t handle the Goddess’ blessings!

What filled it, well, it tasted dark and intriguing. Alpha Zander continued watching me, as if sensing the goddess do her work. “Would you like a taste, wolf?” I held out a hand and rested it on his forearm. I allowed her energy to flow to him. I grasped Beta Solar’s arm with my other hand. “Drink, and be full brother wolves. Alpha Zander, on the other hand, feasted on it. He hissed, eyes closed, absorbing his blessing.

“My deepest apologies. It’s a terrible slip of the tongue.” Christian glared at the guy then, and the messenger suddenly prostrated on the floor, kept down by some mysterious force. “That shouldn’t matter much, should it?” the young man spoke, frightening the downed individual even more. “A mafia member who does not comply to their leader’s order shall be severely punished. Or do you mean to say werewolves are different?”
