No one dared to look at him. Hujan continued to run towards the backyard of the main house. There is a stable horse and large enough are to race. A cross the area is forest which tress can be seen from a far. Big tress were visible from where Hujan was standing. Hujan whistled loudly, a black horse galloped towards him a while neighing. As soon as the black horse is in front of him, Hujan jump onto the black horse's back. He stomped on the horse's reins impatiently. It did hurt her as a little girl but now when she thought of it, it only sounded funny to her. She walked further and saw Stephano petting a black big horse that was lying on the wheat grass. He was brushing the horse's fur and smiling widely. “This is the boss's favourite horse. She gave birth to that foal over there.” The same lady with a hair scarf said. Rose knew Stephano knew how to ride horses like a pro. He was a champion at horse riding in all the riding activities but she never imagined he had a close bond with an animal. Another side she had discovered about him and seeing him up close petting the horse was very sweet to watch.

Prologue Early 2000s The whining of the horses at the ranch made my heart race, but I refused to back down. Fear wasn’t going to win today. “I’m not scared of horses,” I muttered to myself, as if saying it out loud would make it true—or maybe scare off whatever ghosts made these creatures seem so intimidating. Mave blinked up at me, his eyes heavy and slightly bloodshot. A slow, goofy smirk spread across his face when he recognized me. "Look at that. My favorite tutor actually came."

The barn glows faintly ahead, silver light slanting through the cracks in the wood. “GRAVEMANE!” I call out. The name echoes once before the sound of hooves answers me. Khael’s horse emerges from the shadows, steady as ever, as though he’s been waiting for this moment. Vastian is two steps behind me. He whistles once. His horse follows instantly. Gravemane steps toward me, brushing his nose against my shoulder. I don’t have time to fall apart, but something aches in my chest. Gratitude. Fear. Love. All of it tangles together inside of me.

she announced joyfully, pushing the dog aside to show that he was free. The dog recoiled from her and shook his whole body, as if he had freed himself not from just one rope, but from a whole net. He was definitely much larger than any shepherd, resembling it only vaguely because of his pointed ears. I asked. He unlocked the barn, leading the horse slowly out of it. It neighed, scowling at me with those dark beady eyes. I stared back, enjoying the challenge while Jade tried to pull me away so it wouldn't charge at me. “Petty much?” she cackled. “The horse doesn't seem to like me. What's his name?” “Polly,” he answered briefly. “He's a six year old stallion, fast and fit for races, but the owner sold it to us for tourism purposes. That's why he's so cranky,”

He said before returning with a beautiful white Andalusian horse. Black and white. Daniel smirked. “Male or female?” he asked. “Male. His name is Sword.” “Sword?” Daniel chuckled. “What a strange name for a horse.” “He is a strong boy.” Andry smiled widely because kissing the animal. I never thought I would be jealous of a horse. “Sir Andry, I would like you to show me around like you promised yesterday.” “Of course, sir,” Andry said before heading in front of Daniel.

Harvey is a beautiful American Paint Horse. He is a mix of Blank and White and I will admit he is my favorite. He is a very docile creature and he has helped me more than most people know. Harvey was the first horse I was introduced to when I started equestrian therapy. I was a bit intimidated by him, but he proved to be just what I needed. He dealt with me on my good and my bad days and was always there when I needed him. And tonight I need him again.

When she was done, she headed to the stables to pick a horse. "This is Hurricane, the champion of the last Northon Equestrian Competition. This horse is rambunctious and difficult to tame. No one has been able to tame it after its owner retired from the scene. Given its skill, it can compete on national and even international racecourses, but it's a pity that its owner retired. It isn't willing to cooperate with anyone else. "Many people came, trying to ride it. Some were skillful enough and barely managed to, but the chemistry between horse and rider just wasn't there.
