Chapter 1 A month ago The club filled with frantic energy and strobing lights sliced through the edge. Aria sat at the edge of chaos. Her untouched drink was sweating on the table. Her sequined top looked more like a costume. "Aria, why aren't you dancing?” Khloe’s voice exasperated. She tugged at Aria’s arm. “We’re at a club, not a funeral! And those clothes—come on, you’re killing me with the sulky vibe. Let’s go!”

He realized and dropped his shoulders sadly. He returned to his table with his fallen sad eyes and picked up his bag before leaving the company in a cab. .... Late at night, Claire was in a clubhouse where Rae had dragged her to, and they were with a few of their other friends, drinking, and some were grinding themselves on their partners. The section they were in was the VIP section, and it was like a large parlour with sofas everywhere around forming a large circle. There was a mini bar by the side in the parlour where the waiters grab drink orders to serve the customers.

Third person's Pov It was night time, the clubhouse was alive with noise and activity. Music thumped through the speakers, loud enough to make the walls vibrate. The air was thick with smoke and the smell of expensive cologne mixed with alcohol. In the center of the room, at a large round table, sat Clifford. He was a big man, broad-shouldered and thick-armed, with a face that looked like it had seen more than its fair share of fights.

Time for some alcoholic drinks! As Aeun and I arrived at the clubhouse, the loud buzz of the crowd immediately hit us. "Cheers!!" I heard a group of men shout from across the room. I glanced over, a bunch of guys in business attire, probably just off from work. "Babe! Wow! Good to see you here!" My attention shifted from them to Haze Trevor Duke, the clubhouse owner and one of our circle of friends, standing in front of me. He’s a staggering man—a model, actor, and owner of five clubhouses across the country.

It was like a hotel room but larger. "How many fucking club do you own?" He asked. "A lot" he laughed. "Here's the clip boss" the manager said, showing Frederick. They watched as three men entered the club. They danced their way through and blended in. They were masked. They watched till two of them got drunk and the first one left. The second one was also drunk and he took off his mask. He started flirting with some other ladies, kissing them and touching them. The third one brought out his phone and started recording.

Christopher came from a powerful family and their connections probably extended to New York. We were led to the VIP area where the music was lower. It was just like the regular part of the club just that there were booths instead of chairs and we had the choice to go up to the bar or have the waitress come to us. I chose to go to the bar because I wanted the full experience. “Rule number one of clubs,” Christopher said when he noticed that it was most likely my first time in one. “Never accept a drink from a stranger.” I nodded and he gave our order to the bartender before he continued.

“ His club is really difficult to join, and considering the fact that you guys don’t get along, maybe you should join Sebastian’s club. It’s combat. Nothing extra, just martial arts.” “ I will join Rex’s club…Add Hockey to my file “

"Although none of them are supermodels, they are certainly focused on sex and having a good time. Aimie, I really think you would find it fun, too." I did not have to agonize over my decision. I trusted Clara, and her judgment. I did not even balk when Clara explained that newcomers put on a sort of show or demonstration during their first visit. "This allows the other club members to get to know you, 'intimately', let's say," Clara explained with a huge grin. "What exactly do you mean by a demonstration?" I asked. "Well, you have sex in front of the other members," she replied.

One of them asked and obstructed me. "I don't have one. This is my first time," I said in a soft and soothing tone. They agreed reluctantly. They searched my body and their hands touched some part of my body occasionally but I didn't react. I ignored the lustful gaze he threw at me and walked into the clubhouse. As predicted, the clubhouse was filled with noise. Different people of different species were present in the clubhouse doing one thing or the other. Some were drinking, some were smoking, and some were doing dirty jobs or so.

They all shouted in unison as they sipped from their plastic cups. And so, the Midnight Club was born. “So? What do you all think?” Dean says in an enchanting, salesman voice, very distinct amidst the growing noise of the cafeteria. “Bitch, I’m down fow it.” “Same.” “Fuck it. I need a drink.” “Yeah! I miss Van Duke after-hours!” Isaac nods his head in agreement. Five of them have a sudden flush of excitement as Agatha whimpered, “What if we get caught?”
