London baby, I have arrived! As Edmund and I sit in the back of the chauffeur driven car, my face is plastered to the window as I take in this new city that is now my home. There's so much to take in: it's incredible how one place can have so much vibrancy, multiculturalism, and a cosmopolitan edge all at once: the sky scraper buildings, glamourous clothes shops filling the high streets, the internationally renowned restaurants, the parks, the double deckers, the black cabs. And then there's the history: Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, 10 Downing Street, the Tower Bridge, the Great Fire, Barbican Arts Gallery. This city is truly a perfect blending

The sunrise was visible now, he said it was going to be a 40-minute ride to the hotel so I could take a nap if I wanted to. Of course, I could not. Despite the snow, I could still make out the many great structures here. It awed me, It has always been my dream to help build such great structures. It was not like I have never been to London before, I had, but every single time I come here I feel so refreshed by the brilliant views. The hotel Ace booked looked modern with a little culture mixed in it. I have never been to this hotel before. I heard this hotel was one of the best in London.

I stop near Buckingham Palace and take in its splendor. I walk to Oxford Street and lose myself in all of the stores that London has to offer. I become quite thirsty and feel myself grow hungry as well so, I found a local restaurant called "Lamb and Flag". I ordered a buttered beer and a Charlcroft Farm burger. I enjoy the relaxing time to myself; however, it is short-lived as I notice in a faraway corner Mr. Crandall eating with who I presume is his wife or sister, I cannot be sure. I at once begin to panic as my mind remembers the classroom and the possible park incident. I at once finish my burger quickly, lay the correct amount of money on the table to pay the bill.

“I know.” “Then why?” “Because if they're expecting me there, I want to know why.” Richard stared at him. “You're becoming more like your father.” Lucas looked at him. “Maybe that's what they were afraid of.” --- The Crown Meridian stood in the center of Hilton City's financial district. Unlike the abandoned places Lucas had recently visited, the hotel was still operating. Its glass walls reflected the city lights. Luxury vehicles entered and left the main entrance. Businessmen walked through the lobby.

Lily babbled. The officer chuckled. Alex, however, exhaled slowly through his nose. “You’re representing Knight Enterprises,” he said under his breath. “Not auditioning for a comedy club.” _____________ Outside, London stretched before them—historic stone buildings beside sleek glass towers, red double-decker buses weaving through traffic. Lily pressed her nose to the taxi window, whispering, “It’s like Harry Potter meets James Bond.” “Focus,” Alex said, already scanning his phone. She twisted in her seat to face him. “Do you ever… I don’t know… look up? Enjoy the city you’re in?”

The ride wasn’t a very long one, but when London realised where they were after the car stopped, she heavily regretted not wearing something more appropriate. The hotel was very well-known among rich and famous celebrities as it boasted superior service and security. The florist really wanted to open her own door, but there was etiquette to be followed as the doorman opened the car door for her. London stepped out awkwardly and bowed while clutching onto her handbag. She had no idea where to go after coming to the hotel of the CEO’s choice. However, before the lost streamer could head inside, someone approached her. “Are you Ms Webb?”

Her father in particular seemed to be mentally reassessing Liam's net worth, his gaze fixed on the black card as if it might reveal secrets if he stared hard enough. The payment process was completed with elegant efficiency, and soon they were surrounded by store employees bearing their purchases in pristine shopping bags emblazoned with designer logos. "Next, we go to lunch," Liam announced, checking his watch. "I've made reservations at Le Grand Hôtel." "Le Grand Hôtel?" her mother echoed, her voice rising with excitement. "Isn't that where the European royalty stays when they visit Paris?" "Among others," Liam confirmed. "The restaurant has an excellent view of the Opera House."

he greeted. "If you must know, dear Javier, I am currently not wearing anything on my person," London said in a seductive tone. "So tell me, how far away are you from Suite Lacoste on the thirtieth floor?" "Quite far as I am still in my office," he answered matter of factly then added, "but not for long." * * *

And Roxie's Tesla is not an exception. Aside from the police department that we both work for, Roxie's family is kinda rich. They own the most luxurious and expensive hotel in London. I throw my peacoat on the backseat of Roxie's car and we step out of the car as we approach the entrance. We show our IDs to the bouncer out front and he nods, smirking at me. I pretend to not notice as we enter inside. " Fuck." A strip club. Way to go Roxie.
