One minute, I was planning our long awaited trip to Mexico with Sarah and the next thing I knew, it was morning and Sarah's knock on the door woke me up. "Breakfast," she said curtly, her body half-in and half-out of the door, her blonde hair dangling. I groaned and stood up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. "Not even a good morning?" I teased, trying to lighten the mood. Sarah gave me a look I couldn't quite decipher before responding, "Do you want to eat or not?" I hesitated for a moment before asking, "What's on the menu?" Sarah's reply was enticing: "Pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, salad, apple slices, and a hot cup of coffee."

“You look like hell.” I laughed, a sound I hadn’t made in weeks that felt a little brittle, but real. “Thanks,” I said, shrugging. “You don’t look much better, Sarai.” She mock-gasped. “How dare you insult me before breakfast?” We wandered into the Spar together, the smell of fresh pastries and coffee wrapping around us like a warm blanket. I realized I hadn’t even thought about breakfast this morning, had skipped it entirely in favor of trying to prepare for another round of Carson-induced chaos.

It was like living inside one of those morning scenes from a movie. Waking up by the beach, to a breeze that smelled like salt and sun, and breakfast magically waiting? My life wasn’t supposed to be this pretty. Lucien wasn’t out yet, but I didn’t see why that should stop me. I sat down and dug in. The pancakes were fluffy, the syrup perfect. I was halfway through when I heard footsteps. Lucien walked in, hair slightly tousled, a neutral look on his face. I forced a small smile. “Morning.”

Lucy protested. Immediately, the aroma of freshly cooked pancakes and maple syrup filled the air, and Rosa's stomach growled in anticipation. Although she didn’t want to be late, her mother still insisted that they have breakfast before heading out, and Shaun couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. As they sat down at the table, Lucy and the servants emerged with steaming plates of pancakes, crispy bacon, and fresh fruit. The pancakes were fluffy and golden, and the maple syrup glistened on top. Rosa's eyes widened as she took in the spread.

35 Lucia turned on the bed as she held her head in pains . The aroma of hot pancakes filled her nose as she opened her eyes to see Lucien coming in with a tray containing pancakes , tea and hangover pills . She rubbed her eyes for a second to know if she was dreaming but he was still there . Lucien chuckled at her reaction . " Breakfast in bed for a beautiful lady like you . You look more beautiful when you wake up babe " he said and lucia wondered if he had hit himself on something for him to be malfunctioning like a robot but then she remembered it was the deal .

Her friendly demeanor puts me at ease and I walk inside the house, it’s clean and cozy and warm , the smell of the food she just mentioned hits me and I almost drool. She directs us to a long wooden table and Lucian goes to sit down, but Lucy smacks him on his arm. I stare in shock as does Lucian. “Before you think about sitting down you untie that poor girl and let her relax,poor things probably tired and starved”. “Relax I fed her some protein bars and she had plenty of wate

“Okay.” A sweet savor wakes me up. I rub my eyes. It’s already morning. “It’s about time you woke up. Is this when you wake to come to the office?’ I let out a yawn as I sit up. “The bed was so good. You will have to change it if you want me to be getting to work early.” He laughs. “Well, I made something for the pretty dreamer.” He says as he hands over a tray to me. “Coffee and some pancakes. Made the coffee a tad bit sweet for your enjoyment.” Why does everyone make pancakes?

5am. *beep, beep, beep* The alarm on the phone wakes her up. Sarah leans over taking her phone and and swiping the snooze button. She covers herself with her blanket. " 10 more minutes" she thought, when a big wet tongue starts licking her face. "Broccoli". Sarah gets out of bed and lets him out of the front door for air and to go do his business. She then steps into the shower. As she enjoys the steam, she hears a loud thud and broccoli runs back into the house winning.
