Jaxson’s POV It was still early in the morning when I motioned for Tommy D and his men to halt, as the vamps’ camp came into view. Unlike yesterday when Johnny and I arrived here, there were only a few vamps on guard telling me that Johnny had gotten word back to them, and these few vamps were set as decoys.

Some of the other vampires who lived there seemed to be acting suspiciously, lurking in the shadows and watching her and Tyler with a keen interest.
