Sinful contract: Hard Limit, soft moans

Sinful contract: Hard Limit, soft moans

“Curating the stories you love, finding new voices. Why not now?” The thought flickered like a new flame, it sparked something inside of me. I visualized rows of books with my imprint on the spine, manuscripts stacked on my desk, the freedom to choose. “Even if I were to do so, I don’t even know where to begin,” I admitted. “We will figure it out. Business plan, investors, we will take it one step at a time, plus you have me.” I let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding. “It sounds impossible, you make it look so easy Mala.”

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

HEAT BETWEEN THE LINES

"It's not a traditional romance novel. It's a book about a romance editor who helps authors find their authentic voices, and how his editorial philosophy transforms not just their work but their understanding of healthy relationships." Jake's expression grew amazed and touched. "Emma, are you writing a book about an editor who's the hero of his own story?" Emma's smile was mischievous and loving. "I'm writing a book about how the best editors don't just fix manuscripts they create space for authors to discover strengths they didn't know they had. Jake, I'm writing about you." Jake pulled Emma closer, both of them laughing with joy at the perfect symmetry of Emma now creating fiction that hon

His Fifth Mate

His Fifth Mate

Chapter 35 Charity POV The meeting with the editor went well, and my book will be published along with my other works, and I'm so happy. After being rejected by many platforms, I'm finally going to be a certified published author. 'Congratulations, Miss Cha Cha, you are welcome to publish more of your work with us, and we are looking forward to partnering with you' I giggle excitedly as I walk toward the exit door. I have never been so excited all my life. It was the first step of my writing career, so why not?

MARRIED TO THE DEVIL BILLIONAIRE FOR REVENGE

MARRIED TO THE DEVIL BILLIONAIRE FOR REVENGE

The email came from a senior editor at a publishing house I had heard of. Not a cold approach. She had been at the national conference in Chicago. Had heard the keynote. Had, apparently, been thinking about it for three months before she wrote to me, which I understood as a signal about the kind of person she was, someone who did not reach for things impulsively but who, once she had decided, was clear about what she wanted. She wanted a book.

Flash Married to a Hidden Tycoon

“You’re not at that level yet. Just go broaden your horizons.” The guests at this banquet were all major players. Ella didn’t yet have the qualifications. If this had been a formal invitation rather than just an entry pass, the editor wouldn’t have given it to a complete newcomer like her. Ella nodded. “Of course,” the editor added, “if you’re capable of writing something impressive, I won’t regret trusting you.” “Thank you, Editor. I’ll do my best!” After work, Ella rode her bike to the address listed on the pass.

OWNED BY MY EX'S GODFATHER

OWNED BY MY EX'S GODFATHER

Sometimes it is just someone thinking. "The CB imprint," Harriet says finally. "That is good. Clean. Keeps it distinct from the grant program but connected to the mission." I can hear her writing. "Self-publishing gives you control over timeline and selection. You would need an editor. Someone with literary credibility who understands what you are trying to do." "I know someone," I say, and I do, suddenly, without having known it thirty seconds ago. Nadia Reeves mentioned at the interview that her partner edits literary nonfiction. I filed it without knowing I was filing it. "I will make a call tomorrow." "Budget?"

RECKLESS VOWS

RECKLESS VOWS

The managing editor of Horizon Publishing looked genuinely confused. "Assistant editors don't just walk away from secure positions, Lyra. Especially not in this market." "I've been here three years," Lyra said, placing her resignation letter on his desk. "Reading other people's books, fixing other people's words. When do I get to write my own?" Richard sighed. "That manuscript you showed me last month has potential, but it's not ready. Give it another year. Save some money. Don't throw away a good career on a dream."

The Meaning Of Love

The Meaning Of Love

Emma sat on her bed going through her phone. She had been able to meet the publisher today and she had submitted the draft. He was so excited to see it and had also promised her that it would be ready as fast as possible. First, he needed to send it to an editor then after, make a book cover, publish and all. Emma said she was ready to wait so long as it was going to make her first book amazing. Today was her sister's last day of trial and Emma knew that it was probably all not going to end well, especially since they couldn't find the evidence and now it's going to be that way.

Forgotten Wife: My Ex-Husband Regrets It After I Left

"If I say yes what comes after?” Vina leaned in a bit, her excitement infectious. "Initially we'll sign a Letter of Intent. It’s like an agreement. After that our editor will reach out to you. The complete editing typically takes around two months. Then comes the cover design, formatting and ultimately the launch date.” “Release date.” That expression by itself instantly compelled me to hide my face due, to a mix of shyness and joy. Vina remarked, "The best part is this: Livia mentioned that you’re the kind of author who maintains consistency. That’s an advantage for us. Once you finish your book if you wish to create a series or pen another novel our doors will be fully open.”

Thank you for the book. I was confused by the number of days left but it’s okay. I truly hope that she doesn’t give him a second chance. He doesn’t even care in the least. She deserves to find someone who treats her like a queen. I’m not against second chances but some people don’t deserve them
