I'll just need it when I need to go out of this room. I'm just thinking, what if, I didn't leave early that day? But still, I can't go back in the past. There's no way to be back at the past and change my faith. Should I just accept that it really meant to happen? Must I need to forget everything and just live in the present?

I moved again, slower this time, my gaze tracking the edges of the corridor, and for a split second, It doubled. Two versions of the same space overlapping just slightly off, like one was trying to slide into the other but couldn’t quite lock in. My chest tightened hard. “Shit.” The air felt heavier, not suffocating yet but getting there. Trees twisting from wood to stone, leaves flickering between green and silver shadow. The air rippled as the two realities overlapped, each clawing for dominance. And I was the center of it. The man stepped forward. “We can’t risk you losing control.”
