The book he'd given me was on the hallway shelf, returned now, his handwriting inside the cover, this one cost something, thought you might want it. I turned from the window. I knew what I was. He knew what I was. We were just waiting for the language to catch up to the fact of it and in the meantime, we had hands held in cars and mouths pressed to knuckles and the ordinary extraordinary dailiness of a life we were building so quietly that it was mostly built before either of us had decided to start. Not actual studsies but just a few online courses that I've been doing for some time now and it's more or less like school. I'm glad that I'll be able to write the last two chapters of this book. Please don't kill me for how it'll end. I began this book when I was 16 and many of you might know and I would like to keep it that way so the only editing I'll do is just correcting the spelling errors.
