- two of our most hated characters from the new bloods. This was supposed to be just 10–15 chapters, but boom! Here we are, with 47 chapters! I didn't know I would end up loving them as if they were part of the Circle, but I did. And 15 chapters would not do justice to their story. So I am happy that we got this far. Thank you for navigating this story with me! I know we have many side characters that are hanging in the air, and some villains that we either wanted redemption for or crushed — they will comeback as the series continues its journey until we all get to the HEA we all wanted for all of them!

Mike walked towards Brandon's room and entered with the doctor who was treating him. Vincent finds an interesting book about the origins of Dracula. Dracula is an ancient legend of the extinct Sumerians. In the beginning, Dracula, or vampire, was a powerful king. He made a pact with the devil so he could take revenge for the deaths of his wife and the people killed by his enemy.

I stroked his head and it's eyes closed, purring away. “That's Elisabeta.” Michael said as he gave me the glass of liquor and I let out a snort, laughing at the name. Elisabeta was Dracula's wife before he was turned into a vampire in the book. He sat down on the other couch opposite of me and eyed me curiously. “What do you want with me?” I blurted out and I hurriedly took a gulp from my drink. The liquor burned my throat and I let out a cough after swallowing the big gulp, tears stinging my eyes. After waiting for my cough fit to end, Michael finally spoke. “This is not the life I wanted for you, Beatrice.”

“Down here, we keep the most valuable of artifacts. A special silver chest was built to hold them all, a chest which took twenty years to build. Inside of that chest, you will find what you need.” As they continued, the room opened up, and Caitlin was shocked to see standing before them, waiting, dozens of vampires, all dressed in white, all with white hoods. They each held a silver goblet, each one filled with a white liquid. In the center stood a single vampire, a man with a long silver beard and piercing green eyes. He stared kindly at Caitlin and Caleb, holding a small silver goblet for each of them. The woman gestured for them to approach.

“For you.” I could hardly believe it. Flipping through the composition book, I could make out pages upon pages filled with neat handwriting, what looked like ten chapters worth of reading, and even… a couple of smutty scenes. My cheeks warmed as I flipped to a random page and read something about the dragon turning into a man, and…

Chapter 60 The impact of their bodies was like thunder splitting in two. The ground cracked beneath their feet. Dracula attacked, his fist striking Vlad’s chest with the force of a battering ram, breaking his ribs and sending him flying through the house’s balcony and smashing into the stone wall. He rose almost instantly, black blood dripping from the corner of his mouth, red eyes burning like the embers of hell. "Is that all you’ve got?" Vlad growled, spitting blood.
