How The Grinch Stole Christmas の小説・ストーリー

Ethan picked up the toys that were scattered on the floor. He put those toys one by one onto the treasure box. As he picked up the last toy, he stumbled upon the Christmas gift, and he placed it back again where it should be. He stood up straight, touching the Christmas tree with his hands. It's that time of the year again, and every time this holiday comes, sadness seeps in. The nostalgic feeling always comes back because this is the time where he and Chad end things.

…Xavien POV… At this time of year, we all get lost in reruns of The Grinch, that god ugly man that comes to steal Christmas. But then there is Scrooge, the ghost of the past, the present, and the future. Well, the question here is, did she come to steal Christmas, or is she a ghost of my past? Whichever one, she is definitely not welcome. My present is firmly in place, and the only woman I see in my future is Mekayla. Yeah, I am being a bit optimistic, but we have become fairly closer tonight...Until now...

Norwalk, Connecticut. Christmas was in full blast in 1984. Prairies and rooftops blanched with recently fallen knee-deep snow. Despite the cold, children played snowballs while two squirrels frolicked joyfully on a sagging oak tree branch. Yuletide carols resounded all over the land. Inside their home, the Martin family exchanged gifts. JC got a tie from his father and a watch from Joan, his stepmother. His father received a Cuban pipe from him and two shirts from Joan. She, on the other hand, received more: a ring from his father and a golden locket from JC aside from books and chocolates. His sister Jacky had the most gifts. Then they had dinner with grilled turkey. After having dinner an

She stepped out and plastered a sugar sweet smile on her face for whatever little audience she would meet along the way on this cold Sunday afternoon. She passed not more than two students on the way to their usual meeting point. Yeah you guys are hella lucky, getting to sleep in such a beautiful, sleep able weather, there's nothing sweeter. She hadn't realized her sugar sweet smile had turned to a grimace until she caught her reflection in a nearby window and Grinch stared back at her.She pulled the sides of the lips back up and and consoled herself by reminding herself that it was better she went now and read, there than risk being late and commiting murder on the school premises just beca

His little sister Carol was looking forward to seeing Santa Clause. Eddie went into the woods and cut a cedar tree for a Christmas Tree. Coral was excited Santa was coming soon. Eddie helped Coral decorate the tree. Paper was cut and Mama made glue out of flour and water. The paper was glued together to make interlocking rings. The strand of rings was placed around the Christmas Tree like garland. Eddie helped her cut paper and make snowflakes for the ornaments. It was a simple tree with no lights. In the eyes of Carol, it was the perfect Christmas Tree. Eddie went hunting on the Christmas Eve and killed a deer for Christmas Dinner. Carol cried because he teased her and said it was Rudolph t

The word Grinch was often used in his presence. He’d even had a woman leave him in the middle of a dinner date once he’d mentioned that he wouldn’t be interested in going to The Rink at Rockefeller Center during the holiday season. Truthfully, he’d been trying to avoid the legions of tourists at The Rink. Every tourist who ever saw a Christmas movie wanted to go there and the place was always incredibly crowded in addition to being incredibly holiday focused. However, his short-lived dinner date assumed that he was trying to avoid Christmas altogether.

He didn’t want to ruin her Christmas with memories of him. He was the Grinch. Scrooge. The enemy of Christmas. It was better for her to have the holiday without him ruining things. Better to leave before the stakes were too high. If he left now, she could still have a happy Christmas. Better to wake from the dream than have it turn into a nightmare. His hands went to his head, his heart aching with the choice. A tear trickled down his cheek. He held his phone in his hands, cradling the numbers he could see there. The decision was made and he was choosing wealth.

Stated Nathan. The three were called to help move tables around the fires for warmth during the feast. As they were setting up chairs and benches, Nathan heard one of the children ask if this was the meal that the grinch ate when his heart grew back. Katia’s response was just as enthusiastic as the child’s question, “Oh no! That was the Who’s Christmas Feast. Although I guess our feast is a lot like the Who’s holiday feast.”

--- Christmas Eve – December 24th "Lily! Not all the gum balls!" I yelled, as she stuffed another pink one into her mouth while pretending to adjust the gingerbread roof. "I'm stress-eating," she grumbled among the candy. "This chimney won't stick." I leaned forward over the table, spread icing on her nose, and smacked her hand. "Stop it! This house has to be perfect! We are making history here!" "You said that last year and it still collapsed." "Because you ate all the windows!"

Make people happy at Christmas by granting their wishes, no matter what they are. Slowly, I pull away from the kiss. Santa stares at me in awe, chest rising and falling quickly beneath his red suit. My eyes drift to the big brown sack still slung over his shoulder. "Isn't that heavy?" I ask. He follows my gaze, then looks back at me. "Ah. It is." He then slides the sack off his shoulder and drops it to the floor with a heavy thump. He stares at me. "Um... I…" I crash my lips against his again, deeper this time, shutting him up.
