First Class Male

First Class Male

“It’s a four book commitment. We never sign an author on only one book. If this one is a bestseller, we want to be sure you don’t jump to another publisher.” “I see. When would you want the second book?” “We’d like to start pre-publicity in about three months on book two and the third should be ready to go the first of December. You’re going to be one very busy lady for the next year or so. The plan is to market Legal Briefs as the first in a series of lawyer romances. How do you think Danielle Steele stays on the top ten list?” “She hires a writing staff?” Rachel tried a joke, but neither Peter nor Sandra so much as smiled.

Almost Forever: Our Fake Romance Agreement

Almost Forever: Our Fake Romance Agreement

While this may be my day job, but my true love is novel writing. I have three published Sci-Fi books so far, with another one in the works, but lately, my editor has been pushing me to write a romance novella. Ugh, I hate the thought of writing a stupid unrealistic romance book again, especially after what happened between Alex and me. It's the whole reason I changed genres. But, I'll see this as a challenge, and I'm sure I can do it again. People write romance novels all the time, right? Well, as soon as I went into my personal emails that afternoon, I cringed.

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

"The old publishing cartels have paused their ad campaigns for long-form romance. They can't compete with the word-of-mouth momentum of our books. They built an industry on tracking user data. They forgot that readers track the truth." Julian reached over. Intertwined his fingers with Elena's as he looked at the blinking cursor. "They're still trying to figure out our move, Elena. They don't understand that when you own the ground beneath your feet you don't have to play their game." Elena turned back to the keyboard feeling solid and full of potential. The frantic years of writing in the shadows were gone. She was an author standing firmly on her territory holding the master copy of her lif

I want to ask, but I don’t think that’s something you just ask because I don’t want to sound like the crazy one here. “I ended up signing my book Duke of The Night with the indie publisher Phantomedia under the name Dawn Phoenix. It was a coincidence that my editor was Byron Grey.” She explained. “I thought you said you met him online. If he’s your smut publisher, how is that online?” I questioned. “It’s not smut. It’s paranormal historical fiction romance.” Shannon scoffed indignantly at my choice of words. “Is more than fifteen percent of the book sex?” I arched my brow. She didn’t have to answer. She turned bright pink, which said it all.

This book was super fun to read. It was filled with sassiness, lightheartedness, and some unexpected twists and background stories. Loved every single chapter and can't wait to see those bonus stories from the side characters. Awesome work Bryant!

Secrets of the Luna

Secrets of the Luna

“Mostly fantasy books… like romance and stuff.” “She is being modest. She has written seven books so far.” You could tell Wade was proud of her. The way he looked at her with admiration in his eyes was warming. “They are about werewolves, but in more of a fantasy setting. However, your story might make for a good plot.” Courtney looked between us. “I’ll look forward to our story being published!” Courtney’s face lit up. “Really? You would let me write about it?” I was a little confused. “Sure, why would I not let you?”

Every single book I read from Mrs. Smith is AMAZING! Secrets of the Luna is no exception. Her writing makes the story fly by too fast! What I LOVE is you become part of the story, and to me, that's a sign she's a great author.
Mila
Love the book although the plot is just a repetition of Tattooed Luna with a few differences. Same storylines… FL with complicated childhood being hunted down by villain with Mafia ties and overprotective brother is also in the mix. Just too similar in my view. But enjoyable nonetheless.

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

However, it wasn't true that Mindy never managed to publish any books at all during the ten-year period. She had tried writing a teenage high school romance book upon Edith's request. Mindy had been told that the publishing house was trying to push her work to be made into a movie, especially since high school romance tropes were all the hype on TV and in novels at that time. Unfortunately, teenage high school romance was not a genre that Mindy was good at writing. She wasn't able to execute her ideas perfectly and she'd lost her way more often than not. In the end, she spent two whole years writing the high school romance novel.

Dream On

Dream On

All ways pragmatic, she waited for the bad news. Liz sighed, "Well, they want me to stop writing online and write exclusively for them." She paused, gauging Elena's reaction. Instead, Elena just waited patiently. Continuing, Liz said, "I can't have books out there with my name on them unfinished. So, I gave them two options. They could either let me finish my online books and continue to get royalties from the online company, or they could buy out the books and publish them, too. Once they were finished, of course. They told me they would discuss it and email me their decision. Either way, they want to publish the books I submitted to them!"

The Mafia's Bride

The Mafia's Bride

With so many talented erotic romance writers popping up everywhere, she was lucky to have been given the chance to publish her work on the international stage. Her writing career had started back in college—ghostwriting blog posts, penning steamy serialized stories for online platforms, just to make extra cash. But the spark had always been there. The love for language. The obsession with tension, with heat, with the slow-burn ache of want. Then, four years ago, when she and Belinda moved abroad, she decided to test the waters. See if her stories could resonate with a foreign audience. Well, it did. Two books later, she had a modest but loyal readership, foreign royalties, and a pen name tha

“I want a new one on the spot.” I furrowed my brows. “What do you want me to write?” He’s challenging me, so fine… let’s take the challenge! “What’s your genre?” he asked, now sitting on the leather chair opposite mine. “Contemporary romance, fantasy romance,” I answered, Joaquin giving me a single nod. “Alright. Then write something romantic,” he replied, giving more details. “A domineering man, softening to a sweet woman. Go.” I held the pen on my hand as I stared on the blank paper. I felt cold sweat on my back as I grew conscious of the fact that Joaquin, the famous author, watching me as he got a bottle of whiskey from the mini fridge beside his table.
