Tangled With The Other Brother

Tangled With The Other Brother

I pulled out the chair across from her and sat, slowly, as though prolonging the inevitable judgment that was about to rain on me. Lexy narrowed her eyes. “Start talking.” I exhaled deeply, folding my arms over the table, my fingers playing nervously with the edge of a serviette. I couldn’t even ask if she wanted coffee. There was no room for pleasantries. “Okay,” I started, voice low. “So, first of all, I need you to breathe and not interrupt until I finish.” Lexy raised a brow. “Elena.” “Okay, okay! I’ll talk.”

Wrong Surrogacy For The Devil CEO

He's not worth it. "How are we gonna answer their questions when we don't know anything about each other? We need to come up with a romantic story as well," I told him in frustration. Why is it so hard to carry on a conversation with him? He looked deep in thought as though he was giving some time to my words. But then he nonchalantly said. "Then made one?" "Okay…can you give any suggestions?" I nodded. "Like how we met and fell for each other. We need to ensure that everyone believes our story."

Billionaire Contract Marriage: Her Quest

Billionaire Contract Marriage: Her Quest

"It's a good sentence." "It's one sentence." "Good sentences are where books start." He sat on the edge of the desk. "What's stopping the next one?" I looked at the screen. "Every time I try to write about them I either write the case version — dates and facts and documented events — or I write something so careful it sounds like a eulogy." I paused. "I can't find the register that sounds like I'm just talking about people I loved." "So talk about people you loved. To me. Right now."

she finally says sweetly. For her sake, I hope she gives us something that will keep her alive. "Start from the beginning," I nudge when she doesn't begin talking immediately. She rests her palms flat on the table and the infernal clicking stops. She exhales loudly before she begins the story. I'm not feeling the regret for what she did. If I'm not, no one the fuck else is either.

He grinned, wiggling his fingers mysteriously. “It’s called ‘Story Fingers.’ You take turns telling a story, but here’s the catch—you can only speak one sentence at a time, and you have to include a finger count with each sentence. For example, I start with ‘One fox ran across the river,’ and then you continue with two of something happening, and so on. It gets tricky, and hilarious, especially after a few rounds.” Jaiyana laughed, already intrigued. “Sounds… complicated. But fun. Okay, I’m in.”

The Billionaire’s Surrogate

The Billionaire’s Surrogate

I nod my head in amazement. "People do people dirty." I scoff. "Is this about you or your business?" "Maybe both." "I'd love I hear your story." "What story in particular?" "Love story." She says, with a slight chuckle. I crack my fingers, thinking of the start. I take a deep breath, trying to find the right words, but they elude me like fleeting shadows. Not because I am shy or scared but because I lost every idea on how to begin the story of a heart-pricking experience.

Only the wind was still gently blowing through the flowers in the garden, spreading their fragrance. “Okay, I’m all ears!” “This story won’t be easy to listen to,” I began the narration and could see the grimace on Declan’s face change with each word. “No one knows this but me. I’m going to ask you to let me finish first and then any questions you have I’ll answer, okay?” “Okay...”

The Alpha's Irresistible Mate

“You know what, I think it's best if we make things easier for both of us. I will tell you who I am, and you will in turn tell me the reason you're here.” “That's fair enough,” I replied with a shrug. “That's great. I'll begin, since you asked me first. But then, I will start by giving you a brief story about me.” I arched my brow, wondering how someone would introduce himself by telling a story. “Well, go ahead, then,” I urged the rogue for reasons I couldn't tell.

Marked by the Alpha

Predictably, she snatched it up as soon as she settled into a sofa and began munching. “This is really good,” she said with a nod. “Now speak.” Slowly, I took the seat across from hers, and began to wrack my brains on where to begin. So much had happened in the last couple of weeks that it was hard to even pick out a starting point. In the end, I chose to start from the beginning, and so I told her everything starting from the night of my escape. Anya did not interrupt me. Even when she finished her sandwich, she simply dusted the crumbs off her fingers into the plate and sat back to listen with rapt attention.

Really enjoying this story! But if you can't be patient with the writers maybe wait for it to be finished before reading. I hate negative comments toward the writers when it's not updated fast enough for some readers. It is rude and has to be disheartening for these writers.

Blood Rose

Blood Rose

"Okay, so how exactly do people start stories?" He asked me, a small smile on his lips. I paused to swallow before answering uncertainly. "Uhh... " Once upon a time" , or " long ago in a far away land"...Oh! "Or there once lived a prince or princess." " The look he gave me was comical, like he'd sucked on an extremely sour lemon. I laughed out loud. "What?!" He shook his head a little as if to shake my words out of his head. I laughed again.
