Fighting Fate

Fighting Fate

With every charge lunged at him he fought back, snapping his jaws, and trying to keep taking chunks from him. Silently I charged towards him with everything I had and leapt onto his back. I had the scruff of his neck in my jaws and soon found a wound made by Rocco. I used my jaws to open it wider, ripping huge shreds of muscle away. Blood rushed up at me, hot and sticky on my face. I fell off his black furred back onto the floor and watched as Rocco leapt up and took over. Pinning Wicknace to the floor he didn’t spare a second before taking his throat.

Another great story written by Alle! I really enjoyed the characters conversing with the reader, it was a really neat perspective that I’ve never read before now! This book has it all- love, humor, excitement, danger, heartbreak, and healing … all bundled up nicely with a bow. READ IT!

I have read this twice now and absolutely love it! Rocco's character is nothing short of spectacular. I just adore him. I am also slightly obsessessed with the way the characters talk to the reader in this book! Highly recommend this book, as well as all of Alle's books!

Black Zodiac: Demons and Deceptions

Black Zodiac: Demons and Deceptions

It is floating on the air and surrounded with red aura. “First, participants may use their weapons and everything they’ve got in the fight. The fighters may use their magic, their weapons, and their grace’s and curse’s power. If one lost his weapon, he should fight with his magic. If one is unable to use magic, he should fight with brute strength o bare hands. If one can’t continue to fight anymore, surrender already and get ready to be killed. No wasting of time,” I said, presenting our first rule. The vintage paper started to write by itself using a red ink. It's blood, might be.

I'm Not Yours, Alpha!

I'm Not Yours, Alpha!

The fight was inevitable, and as the first snarl turned into a full-blown clash, I braced myself for the chaos that would unfold in the blink of an eye. The rogues lunged, their snarls blending into a cacophony of bloodlust and aggression. Instinct fueled my movements as I met their attacks head-on. Teeth clashed, fur flew, and the forest floor quaked beneath the weight of our struggle. Moonlight painted the chaos in stark shades of silver and black, as the scent of sweat and blood mingled in the air.

Not all who wander are lost

Not all who wander are lost

His little teasing in the gym didn't seem to satisfy him at all. To avoid any kind of confrontation, just like I always do, I proceeded to simply collecting my books. But just as I was about to collect the final book, he stepped on it, trapping my book between the floor and his shoe. When I looked up at him, his face was completely serious, it made me nervous. I hated that face. Come to think of it, I just hate his face. But it's not like he can beat me up in front of everyone! That would be too much, even for him... right?

Mafia Men V - Marco's Vengeance

Mafia Men V - Marco's Vengeance

the director called out. We continued, the fight escalating. Each hit, each block, each dodge was a reminder of the struggle within me. The scene was a blur of motion and noise, but in my mind, it was quiet, eerily so. I couldn’t stop thinking about the last words I said to him, the pain in his eyes, and the truth that I'm keeping from him. "Cut!" We filmed two scenes today, but the fight scene dragged on due to countless retakes to get it just right. By the time we wrapped up, it was nearly four in the morning, and exhaustion weighed heavily on me.

I loved the previous books of this writer so my expectations were high. And I'm not disappointed. Sometimes truly dark, but with enough 'easygoing' chapters to catch your breath. And with twists and turns to make you wanna bingeread.

Mated With My Stepbrother

Mated With My Stepbrother

Where was he? The crowd buzzed with anticipation as Sam finally growled, “Fine. Let’s do this.” When the fight began, her movements were powerful but sloppy, driven by anger. I dodged her strikes with ease, countering with precise hits that only fueled her frustration. The crowd’s cheers for her grew quieter with each missed attack, replaced by murmurs of disbelief. By the end, I had her pinned to the ground, my knee on her back and her arm twisted behind her. Her struggles ceased, and the only sound was her laboured breathing against the floor.

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

The Unwanted Sister's Alpha King

I clawed and bit, every movement a blur of violence, driven by the need to protect Lydia. Derek fought back, his fists landing devastating blows. With a mighty grunt, he threw me across the room. Pain seared through my body as I collided with a wall, but there was no time for weakness. Derek moved towards me with incredible speed, determined to finish what he had started. My eyes quickly scanned the floor, spotting a metal pole within reach. With a surge of strength, I grabbed it and drove it into his chest with all my might. Derek's eyes widened in shock and pain, his movements faltering as he staggered backward, the pole jutting grotesquely from his body.

I'm glad i stuck it out. yes, the book is long, and at times, it does drag on, but what the author did, they did justice to the story itself. unlike most books, the endings are always a letdown. this author knew how to conclude it. continued in comments

It is a long book but I didn’t feel like it dragged out because it was so full of details and the author made sure to tie up any loose ends so it didn’t leave you wondering. Will definitely be sticking around for the fantasy version of it.

Rejected But Unbroken :Fated For The Cruel Alpha

Rejected But Unbroken :Fated For The Cruel Alpha

He evaded with a swift sidestep, his own counterattack coming swiftly. Our dance continued, the sun casting long shadows as we moved across the battlefield. Every moment was a split-second decision, each choice a potential turning point in the fight. Sweat trickled down my brow, my muscles protesting the exertion, but my focus remained unyielding. As we fought, a crowd began to gather, both packs watching in hushed anticipation. Kimora and Lee stood at a distance, their faces tense, their eyes locked onto the battle that unfolded before them. The leader of the enemy ranks pressed forward, his strikes becoming more aggressive, more desperate. But I held my ground, my movements steady and calc

This book is definitely about a strong woman & the various trials she faces & overcomes. The only issue is the reading availability every few days. It makes you want to find another to read instead.

Why do Brad like treating Layla like that? He's a bad guy but in a loving way and now begging for her love. Isn't that foolishness ? You don't love a woman but you're begging for her love now after calling her weak.

Mr. Ford Is Jealous

Mr. Ford Is Jealous

He sang Guinevere’s words of praise, but Stella could tell that he meant something else. She smiled and didn’t say anything further. Instead, she focused on remembering her script. “Can I do it like this?” “Not bad,” the instructor nodded. “When you’re in front of the cameras, make sure your fighting sequences are meticulous—sharp and precise. Don’t just focus on hitting your opponents, but on displaying the character’s personality. Reimagine the original fighting scene in the author’s mind.”

Although am glad since it is a happy ending, i still thought that the ending is so abrupt. It is not the usual ending of a love story with so many unresolved issues. It was cut short all of a sudden. I hope there will be a 2nd book detailing their life together as a family.
Melody
The ending is unbelievably incomplete!its not the best ending as i want to see them family life together.with a wedding and the others also. What about xavier and zeta. Then henry and angelina! Hmm so many unnecessary chapters! But at least weston won in the end. Stella is very cruel compares to wes

The witch and her wolf series

The witch and her wolf series

My eyes scan the audience to find the guy I am going to fight against. "I am not sure. Rico is a big boy. Do you think you can take him ?" "Just put these on top of what you bet”. Twigs accepts the money and we turn our attention to the fight. This time there are also tiny splashes of blood floating around in the air and land far outside the ring. I wrinkle my nose and do my best to breathe through my mouth. I try to divert my urges by studying the fighter's technique. The boss catches the Butcher's arm, and with the other he sends a powerful blow into his ribs. I hear a crunching sound, and the Butcher falls to his knees. The fighter is about to get up when the Boss kicks him right in the f
