Howl Moving Castle Novels & Stories

Our wolves don’t even pretend not to stare and I watch with undisguised interest. The first cart lurches to a halt. Two servants hop down and snap a traveling awning out into a pavilion like they’ve rehearsed it a thousand times. Boxes follow. The wood is waxed and stamped with sigils that prickle the air. Old magic hums, nibbling at my skin. Hazel sidles up on my left, bow unstrung but close, expression sharpened to a point. “Careful,” she murmurs, barely moving her mouth. “Some of those hum wrong.”

Damion’s fury was a hurricane, and I was at its center, powerless but safe, bound to him in a way that no contract or curse could undo. I clung to him tighter, knowing the storm was only beginning, but also knowing—without a doubt—that we would face it together. Then... A loud howl echoed outside the castle gates. It wasn't just an ordinary wolf howl, it was deadly.. A howl that sent the castle walls shaking.

he whispered, raw and low. “I’ve only ever imagined having children with one woman. And she’s standing in my arms right now.” Her breath left her in a shiver. Before she could respond— A howl ripped through the night. Loud. Violent. Too close. The music shattered. Wolves tensed. Soldiers reached for weapons. Kael’s grip locked around her. “Stay behind me.” *** The windows burst inward. Rogues — three, four, five — snarling, eyes feral, bodies twisted with infection.

The first howl came at dawn. It wasn’t one of ours. It was guttural, wrong—like something dead trying to remember how to sing. The sound cut through the morning mist like a blade, silencing the forest in a single breath. Birds stilled. The wind died. Even Nyx went stiff in my chest, ears pinned back, hackles raised. Mara burst into my cabin a moment later, still half-shifted, her eyes golden and wild. “They’re at the eastern ridge,” she growled. “Cursed ones. Four, maybe five. We don’t know if they’ve crossed the border yet.”

Raul replied. "She is ours." They all chorused. "My lord, I beg for your favor. Let us help her." Hilda begged again. "Demons do not help anyone! Definitely not werewolves." Raul stood up. The demons murmured. “Lycan!” One spat. "She is a werewolf!" The king stated. "But she has pointy ears." Hilda added. "Elves!" The demons hissed again. "Silence!" The king roared. After a long silence, he stood. "For the sake of Casper, we will save her life."

I asked, my voice barely above a whisper, though the tension crackling through the air ensured everyone heard me. “This,” Nox replied, his voice smooth, almost indifferent, “is where it all started for Eamon.” Vad’s lips twisted into a smirk that made my wolf bristle. “This is his true home,” he said, gesturing grandly to the crumbling castle perched on the volcanic mountain. “Where he was born.” The small castle loomed, its jagged towers stretching into the ashen sky. Steam hissed from cracks in the earth, the very air heavy with heat and sulfur.

‘Let’s see… To display an area outside of my current location, pour in contents from the desired land and mix it to display the map. As I read the instructions, I turned to the several products brought to the castle from Howler Company, consisting of perfume, lotion, fertilizer, various creams, and even some drinks. I wasn’t entirely sure if those would work, but considering how they were made in Mysta City, using ingredients and materials from the human world, they should still suffice. At least, I hoped they would, as I poured in bits of their contents into the cauldron and mixed them as best as I could.

There’s not a sound in the castle still, but from the distance, I start to hear howls. I rush to the second hidden exit I’d found and wait. It doesn’t take that long for a piercing howl to echo through the night. More howls follow creating a symphony of thanks to the moon. The whole pack howls as one to honor the Goddess. This is going to be the last howl I’m going to hear. As soon as the howl ends, I break away the ankle monitor.

It was furious that everything that I had ever saw and suddenly the wheels stopped as I staggered back on it surface. I stood up and face a very tall castle, it was bigger than anything that I saw, the walls were made of catholics blog bricks and It was very much spiritual to me and I could could feel it from just the sight of the building. "Get her," I heard as the huge wolf said to his warrior. "Ok, boss" he said. His footsteps approached me as he made his way to the wheels and pulled me out. "I said gently, you would not want to make a mess of it!" The huge wolf yelled

I heard some wolves howls as if asking for help and it's coming not only from the borderlands of Casablanca but also in Casabella. "This is bad..." said the elder who was with us. We proceed the ceremony but the howls are getting louder and louder. "Light..." I said and looked at him. I look at mom and the others, "Let's stop..." I uttered. I can see his restrained emotion when he glances at Alphard and Rascal before at the elder and mom. I smiled, "It's okay... You should go..." I assured. He lightly kissed me and whispered, "I'll make it up with you wife. I promise."
