I see him messing with a projector that I didn’t know was there and see a screen set up. “We are going to watch a movie?” “If you’d like. I figured you haven’t seen too many movies. Nadia helped pick out something she thinks you’ll like.” “What’s it called?” “Ever After. It’s a Cinderella story.” “What is Cinderella?” “The fairy tale, Cinderella. Didn’t you have bedtime stories as a kid?” I shake my head no. “He never read to me. I had to learn to read when I was in school.” “Wow, he really never let you do anything. It’s a cartoon, I think you’d like it. We can watch it another time if you want.”

Within minutes, the hall had been transformed, the tables pushed to the back and more chairs brought forward. The social prefect, a short red house senior who she'd had was named Ejeh came up on stage. She informed them that the movie was going to be a two hour something and that they were all expected to return to their hostels immediately afterwards to observe the lights out. Soon, the movie began. It was an interesting new movie named Life of Pi. It was the story of a young man who survives a disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. Whilst cast away, he forms an unexpected connection with another survivor: a fearsome Bengal tiger. It was n intriguin

He return's my smile. Mirabelle leans into my ear, “Yea, nice.” she whispers. “Stop it.” I laugh. The movie was amazing, a romantic movie. Mirabelle's crying began half way through the movie until the end of it. I didn't cry as much as her because I've read the novel version of the movie and the ending wasn't as written in the book.

Brandon POV My parent were out again, and Cameron wanted to drag us to a movie theater to see a showing of The NeverEnding Story. He said it was a seminal movie of his youth and sparked his undying love for fantasy and magic. I never knew he liked those kind of this. I’d heard of it but never saw it. He was driving, so I took it upon myself to do a little research on this cinematic masterpiece on our way to the theater. “This movie is from fucking 1985!”

“O, Tintin, did you have fun? How about we watch a movie? What else would you like?” Jennifer asked the child. “No more, thank you very much, Auntie.” “The child must be really tired. Samantha, maybe we should just head home—I’ll just come back another time. Next time we’ll go out again, Tintin, okay? I’ll buy you more toys and we’ll watch a movie too. You’d like that, right?” “Okay.”

She wasn't crying any longer. "Mummy?" I called out to her, she hummed in response. "I have a story for you. Would you like to hear it?" "Go on." "Remember when I was five and Tolani was seven? There was this day she took out the new doll you bought for me saying it was hers since she had lost hers and you bought us identical dolls. Normally, I would over look such things because those antics of hers were normal at the time, but I really loved that doll and I did not want to give it up for anything. I remember going on to report to you everything she had been doing to me, I was in tears by the time I ended my speech. The question you asked me was, 'why did you not tell me immediately these t

CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO Jimmy took hold of the thread and pulled it off his eyelids. “The footage . . . it’s the story. It’s thousands of years old.” “Yes it is. Like all good fiction it has changed and adapted itself to the latest medium. The story has slowly evolved so it can most effectively prey on the select few who encounter it. The type of twisted individuals who seek out such material.” “You haven’t explained about the ending though. Why would the story keep going just because it was open ended? I like open endings.”

He guarded me like I was some priceless treasure. Then the movie started. The three of us ended up watching a patriotic war movie together. By the time we walked out of the theater, Elias still looked confused. “Why was it not a romance movie?” Jim brushed past him and sneered. “The company gave out free tickets. Ask them.” Elias looked blank. I smiled helplessly at him. “Jim thought it would be a waste not to use the tickets. I had not seen the movie yet either, so he invited me.”

Those books you read in one night took me a whole weekend. "But it wasn't an Iranian weekend," Nizéa said. “Women do nothing here but sit and chat and eat. — You have a swimming pool and television — interrupted another student who was entering the classroom. For Fleur, this was news: — I thought your religion forbade watching movies and TV series. "It really does," Nizéa said. “But Karim, my brother, has tapes and cassettes. "From American shows?" asked Fleur, startled.

The film showcased the forbidden love story between the phoenix and that of a mortal monk that spans five life times; in the end, they finally attain their happy ending on their 5th transmigration, when the phoenix finally becomes an ordinary lady and the monk becomes the town's mayor. The movie had a happy ending that somehow tugged at Briana's heartstrings. Scott eyed his companion, noticing the unshed tears in her eyes. "Are you okay, Bri?" he asked worriedly. Briana nodded her head and answered, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm happy for the couple. At least they have their happy ending!" Scott's eyes fell down. "Then how about us? Can we have our happy ending too?" Briana shook her head and looked
